Today, I want to talk about the cheapest cosmetics that I own in my makeup collection and they are from the brand called ‘Boots Natural Collection’. I came across these products during my stay in London. I was such a frequent visitor of Superdrug and Boots. And one day, when I didn’t want to spend too much on body and makeup products, I reached to Natural Collection Cosmetics counter in Boots.

Packaging wise, it looked pretty cheap. Boots Natural Collection’s products come in this white flimsy packaging. Anyway, because of the price being so low, I thought of giving it a shot and picked up two products: Boots Natural Collection Sand Castle Sheer Natural Lipstick and a blush named Blushed Cheeks in the shade Pink Cloud.

Since, the blush has already been reviewed here on IMBB, so I am proceeding directly to the review of this lipstick.

My Experience with Boots Natural Collection Sand Castle Sheer Natural Lipstick:

It’s a beautiful nude everyday lipstick shade called ‘Sand Castle’. It gives a perfect natural sheen to the lips which makes it perfect for day to day basis for most of us. Therefore, it can be worn as an MLBB shade or even with heavy makeup to tone down the look.

It has a creamy texture. So, it makes the lips feel very moisturized for some time. Because of its moisturising and creamy texture, it does not hurt the lips or pull or tug them during the application or after that. But, the staying power of this lipstick is not that good. So, reapplication from time to time becomes important.

The packaging looks cheap. It comes in white plastic packaging which will not charm most of us, but in 1.99 GBP, it doesn’t hurt at all. The face that these lipsticks are dermatologically tested compensates for the cheap packaging to a good extent, though.

• Availabile only at Boots.

Final Verdict:

Overall, at this price range, these products seem good enough and can be picked up as an bakcup option too. I know the availability is an issue, but if any of you is planning to travel to UK, I would suggest you to go and check out Boots for their such good in-house products.
