My Experience with Boots Soltan Protect and Moisturise Face Cream SPF 15:
Boots Pharmacies have a variety of skincare and makeup products. When I saw this small tube on the shelf at a Boots Pharmacy outlet here in the UAE, I thought let’s pick this one and try.
To start with, it has a decent packaging. A regular yellow colored tube but with a sturdy cap. Due to its compact size, it feels very handy and travel-friendly.
On my first use, I pumped out the product twice to apply all over my face but then realized that it was too much and quite a little quantity is needed to cover the face well.
The texture is kind of thick and not runny. The smell is neither unpleasant nor pleasant.
The cream is quickly absorbed into the skin. It does hydrate the skin as well but not as much, mainly because it’s primarily not a moisturiser, rather a sun cream. The cream appears very slightly tinted on the hand but on the application, it does not really add any color.
I do not like creams which leave a sticky feel after applying because then you cannot carry on with your work! This is neither sticky nor does it leave a whitish residue on the face which is usually the case with some sunscreens. I would not call this texture heavy but also not very light.
