Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel Review

Skin Tone: Light to Medium with warm undertones
Skin Type: Combination

Hi everyone,

Peeling gels have got really popular in the past couple of months, but I was always skeptical about using a chemical exfoliant on my face. However, my curiosity increased when I saw this Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel. So, let’s see how this product fared for me.

Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel Review

Price:
$34 for 5 oz.
Product Description:
A lightweight gel peel that gently exfoliates for deeply purified and radiant-looking skin. Solutions for pores, dullness/uneven texture, uneven skin tone. This peel gel works in three ways: as a physical peel to remove the outer layer of dead skin, as a chemical peel to penetrate deep into skin for in-depth exfoliation, and as a treatment for skin to appear more firm and brightened for a healthy-looking complexion. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

My Experience with Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel:

Packaging: The Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a flip top cap. The logo Boscia is embossed on the side and the ingredient list mentioned on the back. The plastic bottle contains a small locking clip on the dispenser. The flip top is easy to open and gets tightly shut with a click. Overall, the packaging is sturdy.

Texture and Fragrance: The consistency of Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel is gel-like with a slightly rough texture. It is easy to spread over the skin and does not drip. The peeling gel has a refreshing fragrance. The scent is mild and subtle hence will not irritate the sensitive nose.

Usage: Boscia exfoliating peel gel is very gentle on the skin. I double cleansed my face and pat my skin dry. Then, I took a generous amount of the product and spread it over my face. After a minute, I gently rubbed the product on my face in gentle circular motions for two minutes. When I started rubbing the gel along my cheeks and forehead, I actually saw particles rubbing off of my face. These particles were not dead skin, but actually the physical exfoliate particles being created by the friction of rubbing the gel on the skin. I rinsed off those particles with lukewarm water.
