Hello gorgeous ladies,
Boscia as a brand has always been quite intriguing to me as it claims to be more natural and contains many interesting ingredients. While browsing the Sephora website, I came across Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel and read many positive and rave reviews about this baby. So I decided to try it out. So let’s begin, ladies.
CAD 47 (Approx. INR 2475)
My Experience with Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel:
The packaging of this product is quite unique. It is a small jar with a lid and the actual dispenser is press-pump style. It’s housed in a cardboard paper outer packaging as well. The top of the pot needs to be pressed and the gel comes out through the center. It’s a unique way to dispense the product and more sanitary than a traditional jar with a screw lid. The product is dispensed onto the surface of the pot which needs to be wiped off. I find that pressing the top all the way down dispenses too much gel for just the face which may lead to product wastage.
Colour and Smell:
The gel looks a bit creepy at first. It’s a charcoal gray gel with barely noticeable shimmer. The shimmer is magical as it disappears once the gel is applied to the face and sinks into skin. Even after blending partially, the colour of the gel is visible but it completely disappears after blending like the shimmers disappear!
The texture of this baby is like a light consistency gel. It feels great when applied on the skin, with a slight cool and tingling effect. The fragrance is a mild herbal scent that is not very overpowering, but refreshing. It does feel very hydrating on the face initially but the best part is that it blends out to a complete matte finish.
Well, I would say that this stuff is amazing! I’ve been using it for around a month now, and I feel like my skin is more refreshed and better than before. Also, when I apply makeup over this, it makes my skin produce less oil and makes my makeup stay in place for long. I am not sure about what it does for pore-refining, but it still feels good and mattifies the skin. I totally love it.

Cons of Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel:

5/5 (The cons are not major disappointments for me)
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel?
I am super impressed by this product and will sure repurchase this again. This is a great moisturiser for the day time especially summers when the skin needs to stay mattified yet hydrated. I will sure recommend this baby especially to oily-normal skin types as you will thoroughly enjoy this product like I do.
