So, rainy season is here and I am enjoying every bit of it in Kolkata, except water logging issues. So I never thought I needed any bronzer for my skin, but apparently I do and every girl does and let me tell you why! Because of the sales girls who are so convincing in selling you the shade of foundation which does not match your skin tone at all. So, I purchased this bronzer to bring back some warmth and life back to my skin. Also, this contains a bronzer and a highlighter so it is never bad to purchase two-in-one products, right? So, let’s come to the review.

My Experience with Bourjois Bronzing Powder + Highlighter 55:

Okay, I am starting with the amazing packaging of this product. It comes in a diary sort of packaging which is brown in color and the lid is magnetic so it shuts properly. The product is not powdery at all so there is no chance of spoiling other things when travelling. When you open this, on the left hand side there are directions given on how to use this and it is written amazingly as if you are cooking something and it is really cute. It smells amazing! It smells just like milk chocolate.

Seriously, if you are a chocolate lover you will end up sniffing it more often. I always end up applying way too much because I enjoy the scent so much. 😉 Okay, so this is half bronzer and half highlighter. The bronzer is the reason why I purchased it. It has the perfect tone of bronzer. My complexion is wheatish and it compliments my skin beautifully. It does not make my skin look orange which many bronzers do; even if I apply it more than required (which happens most of the time), it is easily blendable.

Both, the bronzer and the highlighter, have really tiny specks of shimmer in it which does not even show up if you use a light hand with it. It gives a really iridescent glow to your face, as claimed by the company. The highlight is of a pinky pearly color so it looks really good on my skin and will suit most skin tones. I would have preferred a gold highlighter, but this is also really good. I wanted this product for the bronzer mainly, but I have to admit I am also in love with the highlighter. The staying power is also good enough for me as it stays on my skin for around 4-5 hours and then it fades evenly.

• To me, the price is fine because I get a lot of product
• Staying power is also good
• Will suit many Indian skin tones
• Gives a nice glow to my face
• The packaging is really adorable
• It is two-in-one product and I am really satisfied with both the products

• Availability
• People who do not like any fragrance in their makeup might end up hating it
