The Bourjois Contour clubbing waterproof liner comes in a sharpenable pencil form. I used to like retractable pencils/liners earlier, but with time, I have shifted to such sharpenable pencils.

My Take on Bourjois Contour Clubbing Black Party Waterproof Liner:
I am always on a lookout for the blackest of black kohls. My all-time favourite is Lancome Le crayon Kohl. I also got L’Oreal’s Contour Kohl on Nidhi’s Recommendation and I am fairly satisfied with it.
I tried this Bourjois Clubbing waterproof liner a few days back at the Bourjois counter and fell in love with it instantly. Needless to mention, I bought it 😀
The liner is super soft and creamy in texture. It glides so easily on the waterline without any tugging/pulling at all. Surprisingly, it goes on the waterline super smooth, in fact, smoother than the L’oreal or Lancôme Kohl which I have.
The shade is super, intense black, just the blackest black I like. Now, from the swatch pictures, it may not seem “that black,” so here is a comparative picture for your reference, which will give you a clear-cut idea of its intensity.
The liner is intensely pigmented too, gives good dark colour in one swipe. I apply 2-3 swipes to get the maximum effect. Now, these are waterline safe and I have been using this to line my lower lash line almost everyday. I have also tried it to line my eyelids like a liner and it does a good job. This can also be used for that smokey eye look as it can be smudged easily when fresh. However, once set, it stays intact.
The staying power of the liner is great. On my waterline, it stays intact for at least 6-7 hours*, after that it starts smudging slightly, but nothing that gives me racoon eyes . (* the staying power of a kohl/liner on your waterline depends on how watery your eyes are. If your eyes are quite watery, your kohl will fade quickly and vice versa).
Overall, it’s an awesome black liner and I would definitely recommend this to anyone/everyone looking for a jet black kohl/liner.
