Bourjois Levres Contour Lip Pencil – Enjoleuse Review

Here’s a review and swatches of my current love – the Bourjois Levres Contour Lip Pencil in the shade “Enjoleuse.” I am not much of a lip pencil person, but lately, I am finding them to be pretty no-fuss and “non-sticky friends” in this humidity. Let’s get into the review right away.
Price:
Rs. 240 which I think is amazing compared to the other lip liners available.
My Experience with Bourjois Levres Contour Lip Pencil – Enjoleuse:
It comes as a wooden pencil that is colored that makes it easy to locate.
Texture: The texture of this lip pencil is smooth and creamy – but on the lips, it dries to a matte finish. I won’t say this is buttery smooth and you definitely need a lip balm underneath to help this glide on your lips better. It is sort of drying like most lip pencils, but it gives a beautiful naturally matte finish.
Shade: This is a pinky n*de shade with a tiny hint of brown that makes it very close to my MLBB shade. I think everyone can use it, as it won’t alter the shade of the lipsticks when worn underneath. But when worn alone, it may wash out darker skinned girls.
Staying Power: It helps in making lipsticks last longer for sure and prevents bleeding and smudging.

Here’s how it looks on my lips – see how natural it looks? I have not worn any lip balm underneath or over it, just to give you an idea about the texture, this is just the lip pencil on my lips.
Overall Verdict:
I love these lip pencils. I am going to pick up a lot more colors in these. For the price, I think they are superb!
IMBB Rating:
4/5 – taking away one point for the drying texture.
