Product description: Our timeless blusher has been around for almost 150 years and has made Bourjois famous worldwide thanks to its amazing texture and packaging. The baked texture transforms when applied to the skin into an ultra-fine pressed powder, which is easy to apply and blends impeccably. One stroke of the brush reveals the irresistible aroma of the rose scented powder.
Its built-in mirror and brush is perfect for touch-ups on the go!
Shades: It comes in 12 shades out of which I have Rose frisson, healthy mix and Rose D’or.
My experience with Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in 54 Rose Frisson:
First things first. They are adorable…….these cute babies come in a round pot like packaging with the color of the pot same as the blush. They have an inbuilt mirror and a brush. The closing mechanism is magnetic which rules out the possibility of travel damage! The shade is a beautiful bang on pink which is neither too clownish nor too sheer. The baked technology is an absolute delight to work with. The blush is not powdery and insanely pigmented. One swipe with a brush picks up enough product for both your cheeks. This particular shade has very finely milled shimmer which is the perfect kinds because it gives you that glow and doesn’t make you look like a clown. It blends beautifully and gives natural flushed cheeks like you get after you work out. The staying power is ok as it lasts about 3-4 hours on my cheeks and does require a touch up if you want it to be there the whole day. One more thing about this blush that I love is the way it smells. It smells like a rose talcum powder but not those cheap kinds. It only lasts till I apply the blush and not after that…It’s not a cheek perfume: P
Pros of Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in 54 Rose Frisson:
• Beautiful glowy pink shade to suit fair to medium skin tone. I think it will wash out darker skin tones.
• Fine shimmer which doesn’t show up on skin but gives that subtle glow.
• Cute adorable packaging.
• Nice smell when you apply the blush.
• Blends like a dream.
• Very good quantity.
• Many shades for all skin tones.
Cons of Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in 54 Rose Frisson:
• Baked blushes harden over time if not used regularly.
• Brush is of no use.
• Does require a touch up after 3-4 hours and I have dry skin so on oily skin it may last even less.
Apart from these, I have no complains with this shade and this blush in terms of quality, quantity and shade. The color is gorgeous and will immediately make you blush like a diva!
