Hope you all are doing well. Hopefully this is the last bourjois eye shadow I had purchased as none of their eyehsadows have fared well. Let’s see how this one fared.

Packaging:

The eyeshadow comes in a small round pot. Each pot is the color of the eye shadow itself. This one is creamy white color. It has a mirror as well as a small applicator. The packaging is very good. The applicator is good, but I prefer it only during emergencies. The packaging looks very cute and handy.

My experience with Bourjois Paris Ombre a Paupieres Eyeshadow – 90 Blanc Diaphane

The shade is beautiful and good for highlighting inner corners of eyes and brow bone, but the texture is pretty okay. The color of the eye shadow is white with some fine silver shimmers. It looks very similar to Mac Vanilla eye shadow, buy only color wise. I tried it both ways wet and dry. When used dry it looks a bit chalky and the color payoff is not the best. When used wet it gives more color payoff and also it looks way more shimmery and intense than used dry. When compared with other eye shadows I have, this one is very powdery. When you swirl the the brush in the pan, there is fall out. Also when applied on primed eyelids there is fallout everywhere and makes everything messy. The eye shadow itself is so hard, powdery and messy. The texture is not at all soft. I am not sure if this is with all of them, as I have one more shade from this range but that is complete opposite, it is very soft and smooth and blends like a dream. Whereas with this one blending is not very easy. It gets very patchy and is not at all easy to blend. You can see from the pic, I have barely used this eye shadow. I hardly use it as a brow bone highlighter. I got attracted to this eyeshadow because of the mineral claims it made. This particular shade is very shimmery, but I wish the texture was good. It stays for 4- hours on primed lids when used dry and when used wet it stays on for around 6 hours. I had good expectations with this product, considering the price and brand. In all this is definitely overpriced for the quality.

• When used dry color payoff is not so good
• Powdery and hard
• Blending is difficult
• Expensive comparing quality

Do I recommend Bourjois Paris Ombre a paupieres Eye shadow- 90 Blanc Diaphane?

I do not recommend this particular eye shadow; there are better eye shadows at better prices available, I would like to try them.
