Let me just say this, “Screw bar soaps; shower gels is the coolest thing!” I feel like it takes a lot of work and expertise to clean your body with a bar of soap. Instead, let’s make bathing a luxurious and easy experience especially for the lazy ones like me! I discovered a range of Bourjois shower gels and picked a few without giving it a second thought!

My Experience with Bourjois Paris Pamper Me Cocooning Shower Milk:

I have to admit that I have a serious addiction to bath products. There’s just such a wealth of amazing body washes out there — at really reasonable prices — to resist buying one too many shower gels, creams or oils. I know, right?!! I am all about brightly colored and strongly scented shower gels. Aren’t they so tempting after all? The first thing that caught the eye was that Bourjois has its range of body washes as well because I always thought they were into makeup only. Anyway, I grabbed a few of them.

The bottle is very colorful and funky. All of the shower gel variants bottles are curvy, oval-shaped and come with a bright pink plastic cap. The color of the body of this variant is peach. There is a cute golden ball on the top of the bottle. When your hands are wet and soapy in the shower, this golden ball makes it sooo convenient to open the flap for use. The bottle is sturdy and cap closes tight which makes it travel-friendly.

The body wash liquid is neither too thick nor too runny. It is an opaque peachish colour liquid and is not gel based. On application, it is creamy and lathers well. The fragrance is strong and can relate to the “Milk and Cherry Blossom” variant. Around two pumps are needed for one use.

Since the texture is creamy, it does not get washed off as quickly and easily as a gel. It does moisturize the skin and leaves it soft. Though I did not notice the effect of the skin feeling moisturized all day. I do not like shower creams which leave a sticky feel after use but this one does gets washed off thoroughly and does not leave a sticky residue. I have normal skin type and felt that it would suit all skin types.
