Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick #51 Rose Seduisant

Today, I am going to review one of my most favorite lipsticks these days, the Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick in # 51 Rose Seduisant.
This was a gift from my sister on my birthday last month and I find that every time that I now need to wear a Pink Lipstick, this is the one I reach out for.
What Does Bourjois Say about These Babies:

My Take on Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick #51 Rose Seduisant:
First of all, I love the name. I loved the name so much that I used Google Language tool to translate this in English and found that it means Attractive Pink and it indeed is. One of the prettiest, no THE prettiest Pink lipstick I’ve ever owned. It is soft, creamy and glides easily. Staying power is good, an average of 6 hours on me, wears off evenly and does leave a nice tint, though not as strong as many of my other lipsticks which cost lesser.
It is a bright pink color which sometime looks a bit coral-ish to me. It would suit most skin tones between medium to fair. The fragrance is very sweet and a lot like my L’Oreal Color Riche’ ones. This does not dry out the lips but I don’t think they are moisturizing as such. It is indeed very light and comfortable on the lips and goes opaque in 2 swipes.
The Good and the Great about Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick #51 Rose Seduisant:
- Superb Pigmentation.
- Very light and creamy, glides easily.
- Evenly wears off, no patchy marks and leaves a nice tint after that.
- Non-drying.
- Good staying power, at least 6 hours for me.
- Nice packaging, with that cute slider button by the side.
- Easy to locate in a stash because of the color indicator at the cap.
The Not-so-Great Points about Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick #51 Rose Seduisant:
- Some people may not like the fragrance, but I don’t really have a problem with that.
- The price may seem steep, but trust me, it’s awesome quality for that price
- Shade choices are limited, about 10 or 12 I think.
- There is no ingredients list, the SA told me there were no animal ingredients.
Apart from these cons, I can’t think of any and I’m definitely going back for more!!
