When shelling out hard earned money we want classics that will never lose their value and not the designer ‘it’ thing of the season.
Some timeless high end products, over the years, become the faces of their brands. Such products are not just utilities but investments. Here are a few fashion products that have become iconic because of their cult status and legacy.
Trench coats were developed to worn as raincoats by British and French soldiers in the First World War. Thomas Burberry who invented the famous Egyptian cotton fabric called gabardine is believed to be the first one to submit the design of a trench coat to the UK War office. Since then it filtered into mainstream fashion and remains the most loved raincoat with all original details intact.
