My Experience with Braun Silk Epil 7 Dual SE7751 Epilator:

When I opened the box, it was absolutely magical. I have used Philips and Remington epilators before, but this one by Braun is a class apart. No matter how many epilators I might have seen, the heavy body and twinkling pattern on Braun is mind blowing. The product feels super sturdy and the tweezers are packed differently. With its Venus razor blade attachment, it’s good for girls who are not willing to move to epilation.

What this does with the shaver+epilation head is that it epilates in one go, and while sweeping, it cuts off any hair that has been left behind. This claims to bring your hair growth cycle to regular and even, in four weeks time. After the first week, the hair that has been shaved grows back to epilation length in the second week, and so on! In four weeks, all the hair has been epilated once at least, shaving is not necessary then.

The razor head can be interchanged with the regular epilation head in the following month. On the downside, you have to use the same razor head 4 times, even if once a week.  This razor blade head also helps to remove any ingrown hair easily so that they grow upto epilation length. This epilator is cordless, it charges fast and can be used up to 40 minutes continuously on full charge. Charging is super easy but the charging plug into the epilator feels very loose on my epilator. It blinks while it is being charged.

Now about the epilation, this pulls about the hardest hair in one or two sweeps. On a regular epilator, you might have to run it over for 4-5 times. This seems less painful than any other epilator I have tried in the past. I simply love the pretty colors on it. The epilator is watertight and the blue cover can be removed and washed. I love it because my hands sweat and the grip really helps. The epiltor can be cleaned under running water, I like to remove the tweezing head and wash it separately as well. I also love the way the two speed button works on being twisted in a circular motion.

I cannot explain how brilliant the light is. It is LED and shines on hair under any light, your bedroom or bathroom. It is very helpful but epilating in natural day light is definitely more precise. The epilator is on the noisy side but it only reminds me of its efficiency when I am in the process of epilation. The epilator really picks up fine and thick hair alike. Even bikini line hair removal is faster due to its perfection.

The pivoting head is not my favourite for the underarms; it really snaps and disturbs me. So I think the pivoting head is better for legs and knees where it moves with contours of the body. Wherever the skin is loose, the pivoting head might irritate you.

About the shaving attachment, you can slide it to unlock if you want to shave shorter hair. If you want to trim longer hair on the body, you can slide it to the lock position for a closer shave according to the manual. You could also attach the trimming cap for longer hair which need to be shaved.

The hair re-growth has really reduced on me, the hair are really finer. It is almost unbelievable how amazing epilators can be. Even for the underarms, the hair is fine now with hardly any growth. Over the years, waxing has helped to reduce the hair reoccurrence and now with epilators, it is getting better than never before. If you are new to it, I highly suggest you buy this with the razor plus epilation head so you can accustom yourself in 4 weeks with the process. It gets virtually painless in no time, keep at it every week or ten days. Also, my personal tip is to epilate after your period, never before.

Cons of Braun Silk Epil 7 Dual SE7751 Epilator:

• The pivoting head bother me on the underarms.
• The charging point where the wire is is inserted feels very loose.
• None of these are a big bother for me, and I love this gadget to bits!

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Braun Silk Epil 7 Dual SE7751 Epilator?
For sure a big yes! If you have been shaving or waxing, Braun epilator will not disappoint you. Very soon, it will be almost painless if you keep at it.
