British Royal Family’s Most Gorgeous Tiaras

In this post, I have put together a list of the most gorgeous tiaras worn by the lady members of the British royal family. The British royal weddings have always been in the news for their elegance and grace, and the attire of the bride and the groom have always received a fair share of the limelight. The tiara is an intrinsic part of the British royal attire, and it is worn at royal weddings and also at all major royal events. 1. The Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau Tiara:

Meghan Markle wore this resplendent diamond tiara at her wedding recently. It has a big diamond brooch in the center, and the tiara was designed for Queen Mary in 1932.

2. The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara:

This was designed as a wedding gift for Queen Mary in 1893 (while she was still a princess). The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland committee gifted the tiara to her on the occasion of her wedding, which is how it gets its name.

3. The Burmese Ruby Tiara:

With about a hundred Burmese rubies embedded in it, this tiara was made in 1973. These gorgeous rubies beautifully complement the diamonds in the tiara.

This tiara was originally made as a crown for King George IV for his coronation in 1821. However, Queen Mary, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II then wore it as a tiara and it is still around in the family.

This gorgeous tiara was designed by Cartier in 1936. It was then gifted by the Queen Mother to Queen Elizabeth II on her 18th birthday. Kate Middleton wore it for her wedding in 2011, it’s made up of 739-brilliant cut diamond and 149 baguette diamonds.

6. The Oriental Circlet:

This delicate, pretty and intricate tiara was designed by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria. Later, the Queen Mother gifted it to Queen Elizabeth II.

7. The Brazilian Parure Tiara:

This beautiful tiara is truly unique and is embellished with gorgeous aquamarine jewellery/

8. The Queen Mary Fringe Tiara:

Made for Queen Mary in 1919, this beautiful tiara can also double up as a neck piece.

9. The Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara:

This tiara originally belonged to Russian Grand Duchess Vladimir, but it entered the British Royal family when Queen Mary purchased it from her and passed it on to Queen Elizabeth II.

This beautiful tiara was given to Princess Diana as a wedding gift, and she was seen wearing it quite often. It has also been seen on Kate Middleton a few times.

Again, this lovely tiara has been seen on Kate Middleton quite a few times. This tiara belonged to the Queen Mother, and it was created with a necklace that was gifted to her by her husband.

This is one of the largest and most magnificent tiaras owned by the Royal Family of Britain. It was originally created for Queen Mary in 1911, and has been altered a few times since.
