My Experience with Burberry Fresh Glow BB Cream :

I am not a huge BB cream or Tinted Moisturiser person. I mostly go for lightweight foundations because I find it comfortable to tweak the coverage of my foundations. I started using this BB cream since the day I got it and I abssooolutely LOVE IT.

It is a luminous skin perfecting beauty balm with SPF 20. It is a lightweight everyday BB cream that adds instant glow to the skin. The coverage is sheer and I would say that’s it is slightly shy of medium coverage if you apply two layers of it.

I personally like to use this BB cream with finger tips than with a brush. I feel the product gets even more sheered out when used with a brush.

So this BB cream is for days when you want to luminous glow but you are still having a pretty decent skin day to begin with. Just dab this BB cream, and then conceal the areas such as under eyes or spots with a concealer. You’d end up with the most luminous natural looking skin and you’d love it.

I have normal to dry skin and I find it brilliant for my skin type. But I wouldn’t recommend it for people with oily skin. They might find it too shiny for their skin.

The texture is lightweight and blends into nothing. The BB cream does not really set dry until you powder it. I’d say powder it ever so lightly so keep the luminous glow that this BB cream imparts.

It comes packed in a pretty beige tube with pump attached at the top. Perfection. That helps prevent any mess and it is super easy to use. Just pump the product out and dab it with finger tips.

Does not have any funny smell to it. A very mild pleasing smell that you wouldn’t even probably notice it. Never broke me out. It is available in 3 shade – light , medium and dark. I use the shade medium. Since the product is so sheer, the 3 shades would work for a wide range of skin tones.

It has SPF 20, which is pretty good.

Now coming to the drawback. So often if  I wear for long say 6-7 hours, it completely disappears from my t zone despite setting it with powder or having a primer underneath. And I don’t have a very oily T zone as well. But the skin looks absolutely fine..rather nice on rest of the face. Imagine if someone with oily T Zone wears it.

So when I don’t have a long day ahead, I have been reaching out for it a long. It’s such a lovely thing to wear for a lunch or brunch or a day out with friends. But if you are planning to wear it for long, you would have to do touch ups for sure.

Overall, despite the drawbacks, I LOVE this BB cream. It keeps skin looking glowing, and feeling breathable.  It basically makes my skin sing. 😀

  1. Just two days back I was thinking Rati should get Burberry makeup 🙂
Rati tell me is shade selection somewhat better or easier in luxury brands? You find your match easily most of the times? 🙂 (silly question? )

    1. haha!! neha i think i just get lucky because my skin is somewhere in the medium range so a little here and there kinda works for me. But it depends from brand to brand. Like some luxury brand would have like 5 shades of foundation , which is ridiculous. But some brands would have like 40.. so nothing related to luxury brands …it’s just dependant from one brand to other luxury or no luxury 🙂

you dint see my europe haul na? 😛

  2. I am more of a BB creams person than foundations, and I think this is my dream BB cream. I too have normal-dry skin and I guess it’s gonna behave perfect with me too. 🙂

And, you look stunning in the pic, as always. :-*
