My Experience with Burberry Blush Blossom No 5

I picked up just one blush from Burberry- Blossom No 5. It’s a stunning peachy pink shade with very fine micro shimmer. Infact the shimmer does not even show up until you really stare at the pan. It pretty much goes on as a matte blush with a soft glow.

The packaging is the same as the powder compact and the powder foundation. It’s a sleek grey case with burberry pattern embossed on it. There is mirror on the inside. There is a compartment for the blush and a  little angled brush. The blush also has a signature pattern on it.Plus there is a magnetic closure to the pan. The brush is very soft and a little fluffy. It’s great for touch ups on the go. Infact if you want, it’s a pretty good brush to use it on its own as well.

I absooolutely love the color of the blush. The little peachy warmth of the blush makes it perfect for all skin tones. It’s neither too pinky nor too coraly.. sort of in between. It’s a great everyday blush as well as the one that you can use for evening outs or parties as well.

The blush is damn pigmented. The first time I used it, I ended up looking like a clown. 😛 A little goes a long way. One swipe of on a blush brush is good enough for both the cheeks- if I can put it that way. 😀

The staying power is good 6-7 hours on me without any fading or the blush getting patchy. I have dry skin so the blushes normally stay on my skin longer than they do on someone with oily skin. I’d still say that it is one of those long staying blushes only.

The blush is super soft and the powder is finely milled. It blends in beautifully.

There is a faint rosy fragrance to the blush. But totally not bothersome.

The blush is pure love. I can happily include more shades from the range in my collection, it is THAT good! 😀

  1. So gorgeous – the packaging, shade and of course you! I have never used Burberry products, but it has become my most favorite makeup brand now. 🙂

  2. WOW! The blush is gorgeous! The shade is dupable, but the quality and the sheer luxury of Burberry? Noway! You look BEAUTIFUL!! Muuuaaahhh :*

  3. I absolutely love the way you coordinated the whole makeup…specially the lip color. On the pan the shade was looking too light for medium Indian skin tones but on you it looks sooo perfect. May be that’s why we pay 2600/- bucks without complaining 🙂
