My Experience with Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Eye Color Storm Grey 303

Storm Grey 303 is a taupe grey eyeshadow. It’s a great pick for creating smokey eyes. But I sometimes tend to use it as an overall wash of color on the lids as well.

The Wet & Dry Silk Eyeshadows come in this little square metallic grey packaging. There is signature Burberry Pattern embossed both on the packaging and the eyeshadow. There is a little mirror attached on the inside and a soft smudger applicator is added for touch ups. The packaging is a little on the heavier side and has a magnetic closure.

The eyeshadow has a satiny finish. Also, the finish is such that it sometimes looks warm toned and sometimes work as a cool toned eyeshadows. It depends on what eyeshadow you are pairing up this color with. There is no shimmer or glitter but the finish is sort of on the shiny side..if I may put it like that. The shine gives a very even and iridescent look to the lids.

You can use this eyeshadow both wet and dry. But I rarely ever use it wet because the pigmentation is pretty intense itself that I don’t feel the need to make it intense-er. But you totally have that option.

The eyeshadow is buttery smooth and goes on the lids like a dream. It blends seamlessly and there is little or no fall out.

The staying power is incredible with eyeshadow primer underneath. I have barely seen it fading or creasing even after 10 hours of wear. That lovely stainy finish pretty much stays through out.

You can use this eyeshadow color especially for creating black smokey eyes. The color is pretty much like smoke and it would make your blending so much easier. But you can actually use it with just any shade and any way. I find it quite versatile.

To wrap up, the eyeshadow is perfection. 😀 I might pick more shades from the range. 🙂
