Another essential for me all year round is the lip balm. I can never have enough of these and am on constant look-out for varieties of lip-balms. I have the Burt’s Bees – Beeswax Lip Balm for the last couple of years and have been using it on and off. Since the advent of tinted lip balms the Burt’s Bees – Beeswax Lip Balm was being neglected. But winter made me rummage my drawer for a non-drying lip balm and this was the answer to it.

What I think about Burt’s Bees – Beeswax Lip Balm: The lip balm comes in a pretty yellow container with a twist-up action to bring up the lip balm. The packaging is small and cute. The cap closes really tightly and prevents any drying or contamination. The container has a picture of two bees and if you look closely there is a honey-comb design in the background. The lip balm is transparent in colour and smells highly of peppermint.

The lip balm glides smoothly on the lips. It leaves behind a moisturizing layer of the lip balm. I find this a little heavy on my lips as I prefer lip balms that are quickly absorbed. The lip balm gives a cooling effect to the lips since it contains peppermint oil. Again I really do not like this tingling on the lips.
The lip balm lasts for a couple of hours on the lips. My lips are not dry or chapped. With the usage of this lip balm I haven’t found any marked improvement in my lips. They are in a status-quo condition.

• It has not made any difference to my lips since I’ve started using it.
• I do not like the tingling sensation from the peppermint
• Feels heavy on my lips
• Needs to be applied again and again

Yes. But only if you are not looking for healing of lips. The Burt’s Bees – Beeswax Lip Balm moisturizes the lips but does not heal them
Will I repurchase Burt’s Bees – Beeswax Lip Balm? Yes. They do not dry out the lips even with constant reapplication as some lip balms do.
