My Experience with Burt’s Bees Fragrance Free Shea Butter and Vitamin E Body Lotion:
Packaging: Instead of tub or bottle, this tube packaging is perfect. It comes in a slightly large tube, with a flip open cap. All the product details are neatly printed on the body of the bottle. I like how the tube is aesthetically appealing without looking overcrowded or too colorful. The flip cap shuts tight and you can carry it during travelling too.
For the longest time, I had wanted a daily wear body lotion without any fragrance. I always find the floral-scented lotions too strong for my liking. Also, although I loved the warm-scented lotions, there are days when my body mist would get mellowed by the fragrant lotion. This fragrance free body lotion is just perfect for my normal-dry body skin.
It is lightweight, a thick liquid, which is somewhere between a cream and a lotion. I like that it is not runny, so it doesn’t spill out from the tube. Just a bit of gentle pressure and you find the white creamy substance oozing out. It is moisturizing without being greasy or sticky. It imparts nourishment to my skin, removing dry patches and white scaly skin. It isn’t meant for extremely chapped skin as it isn’t exactly a repair lotion, but more of a daily dose of hydration to keep dryness at bay. If you have normal-slightly dry skin, this may work really well for you. It gets absorbed really fast, and skin stays supple for at least 5 hours.
Burt’s Bees products are especially designed for allergic and sensitive skin, and will suit all skin types. I will recommend it for daily use, but not for very dry skin or use in winters.
