I am not loyal to lip balms and mostly buy whatever I see in the store. I am more of a lipstick person and use a balm underneath my lipsticks, if the formula is very drying. I saw this lip balm from Burt’s Bees in Walmart and got it without thinking. Here is the review of Wild Cherry lip balm so that you can consider whether to buy it or not.

My Experience with Burt’s Bees Wild Cherry Moisturizing Lip Balm:
Packaging: A pretty simple and fuss-free packaging. It comes in a yellow and burgundy stick form. The small chapstick is easily retractable and quite convenient to carry about. It has ingredient lists and basic product details neatly squeezed into the label. There is no additional cardboard packaging. The cap had a paper seal, to prevent usage before opening the seal.
The lip balm is not tinted. If you are a sucker for rosy pink lips and rely on a lip balm for that, you might as well stop reading right away. It glides on easily on lips and has a slightly waxy feeling on lips on application. This is due to the presence of beeswax. However, it melts easily on rubbing the lips together.
It makes lips very smooth and soft. The effects aren’t very long lasting. I stay in AC lab settings and my lips remain hydrated for 4 hours or so, before I feel the need to reapply. If you do not have very dry lips, this will suffice for better half of the day. Probably, not the best winter lip balm, because my lips get badly chapped. I would use this during the day and use a thicker cream like Boroline for ultra nourishment at night. It won’t heal chapped lips, but prevent them.
This is a good one to use if you wear drying lipsticks, especially liquid lipsticks. I scrub my lips using a toothbrush and apply this lip balm and blot it. My lips become vey smooth and are prepped for liquid lipstick coating. This lip balm doesn’t contain SPF, so wearing it alone without a sun protection enriched lipstick is not suggested.
The balm has a strong fragrance, very fruity and tangy. The scent might not be everyone’s cup of tea. It lingers for some minutes before fading. The ingredient list is very impressive and Burt’s Bees always has natural ingredients that are good for skincare. It is a good lip balm, but not something that would be my HG lip balm.

I like it, but don’t love it. Won’t repurchase.
