It’s buttery and creamy with pigmentation that will put all lip balms to shame. The texture is closer to lipstick, but more hydrating and luscious.
My experience with butter LONDON, Lippy Tinted Balm in Axis Kiss Reviews:
As you can already guess I am head over heels in love with this, believe me I reach out for this even more than I do for all the lipsticks I have…it’s a blessing in disguise. I was at the butter LONDON counter when I was having a look at the range of products, that’s when this caught my attention. There have been high end lip balms from a couple of brands and I had the desire to try one, the moment I tried hand swatches I knew I had to get at least one, but the sharp price did hold me back, but finally I got the most prettiest pink ever.
I honestly haven’t had such a lovely pink lippie in a long time, it compliments my skin tone so well that I have been asked by a couple of ladies what am I wearing. 🙂 In the pics you can see the lippy applied on bare lips. In fact I had peeling/flakey lips that day as I was in a rush and had no time for lip scrub, I took the pics in a whim…. I am amazed how hydrated they look and feel by the use of it.
The pigmentation is not as high as a lipstick, but way higher than a lip balm and is buildable. This can be worn beneath a lipstick or simply on its own for a natural look. The longevity is 3-5 hours, but with food it holds ground for 2-3 hours. I am loving every bit of this and planning to get another shade soon. I did not expect 8-10 hours of wear time as its only marketed as a lip balm not a lipstick, with that kind of long duration lipstick there are the mattes of the world which drys out lips like crazy.
