My Experience with Buxom Full On Lip Polish Sugar:
Packaging: The packaging of Buxom’s Lip Polish in “Sugar” is very chic and sturdy. The lip polish comes in a round, transparent plastic tube with a silver cap. The tube has “Buxom” graphic designed on the side. The bottom of the lip gloss specifies the name “Sugar.” The gloss has a doe-foot applicator which gives a precise application. However, to cover the whole lip, you need to double dip the applicator. Overall, the tube is sleek and travel friendly.
Texture and Application: The texture of this gloss is very glossy without any stickiness or tackiness. It’s very comfortable to wear. It’s very hydrating too. The doe-foot applicator provides an easy application. The lip gloss has a minty fragrance to it and it’s not overpowering. This lip gloss also gives a tingling sensation when you first apply the lip gloss. The tingling sensation does plump up my lips slightly. The plumping effect lasts for a very long time.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lip gloss is sheer with tiny specks of glitter in it. The glitter doesn’t show on the lips. You can get full coverage if you use a lip pencil before putting on the lip gloss.
Shade and Finish: The shade “Sugar” is described as a ‘pink truffle’ and it is a very beautiful light pinkish n*de shade. This shade gives me “my lips but better” kind of a look. This shade will complement all Indian skin tones. The lip gloss gives an illusion of plum, fuller lips. It is extremely comfortable to wear.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good by the standards of a lip gloss. It stays on my lips for around 4 hours without the need to reapply. However, it will start to fade if you eat or drink, but this doesn’t bother me since I can reapply the gloss easily. Overall, I am really happy with the colour payoff, the texture and the longevity of the lip gloss. The lip gloss can be easily removed with a makeup wipe.
