Hope you are all doing great.  I am back with a review on Buxom Full-On Lipstick in the shade “Milan.” A few weeks ago, I was doing a mini damage on Sephora website and I was $10 away from free shipping. I was looking at the sale section to see if I could find any new and interesting products in order to qualify for free shipping.  This could be a sign that I am piling up products in my stash, believe me, if I hadn’t found anything impressive, I wouldn’t have placed the order online 😛 I found this interesting stuff to be on sale for exact $10 and decided to give it a try as I don’t own any Buxom products. I heard many positive reviews about Buxom lip glosses and there were a lot of good reviews on the Sephora site for this lipstick too, so I decided to give it a try.

Product Description:

What it does:

Buxom Full-on lip stick works three full-time jobs – it defines the shape of the lips like a liner, fills them in with creamy velvet color, and then plumps them to their full buxom potential. It’s a three-in-one lipstick that’s quick and convenient for defined, colored, buxom lips anytime, anywhere.

What this product is formulated without:

• Parabens.
• Sulfates.
• Phthalates.

$19 (I got it on sale for $10).

What else you need to know:

The formula contains a deep infusion of antioxidant vitamins A, C and E for soft, smooth lips. It also comes with a built-in sharpener.

My Take on Buxom Full On Lipstick in Milan:

Buxom lip products are formulated by Bare Escentuals.  When I read all these interesting things, I decided to give it a try and I love it.

Packaging:  This comes in a retractable silver tube which looks lavish and there is a sharpener at the bottom to sharpen the tip on the go. The packaging looks like a lip pencil but the body is not of wood.  This product has an interesting packaging and kind of hard for me to explain. Look at the pictures to get a better idea.

Color:  A gorgeous sun-kissed apricot color which would suit almost every skin type.

Smell: There is no fragrance to the lipstick.

Texture: This is a very creamy lipstick which gives a matte finish on the lips.

Color Payoff:  It gives a very opaque color payoff, also defines the lips and erases the pigmentation in just a single application which is a huge benefit.

Finish: It gives a beautiful matte finish to the lips without drying.  If you wish to get a glossy effect, you can definitely top it off with a gloss. Buxom recommends using Buxom lip gloss to get maximum plumping intensity. There is absolutely no shimmer.

Feel on the lips:  This lipstick gives a subtle tingly effect which makes the lips look a little plumper and gives a gorgeous pout.

Lasting Power:  It lasts on the lips for good 5-6 hours. To increase the staying power, Buxom recommends to blot the lipstick twice.

Wear off:  This color wears off beautifully, doesn’t cling to the dry patches on the lips.

Application: It gives a very smooth application and doesn’t emphasize the fine lines on the lips.

I don’t see any other cons for this product. I absolutely love the look and feel of this amazing product on the lips and I will definitely recommend anyone to try these out.
