My Experience with Buxom Sweet Thing Full Bodied Lip Gloss:

A cute lip gloss tube with a flat two sided applicator.

The texture is totally similar to the Buxom Full on lip polishes in the sense that this lip gloss is also very thick in consistency. It does not go streaky or uneven and give a very high glossy shine on the lips which makes the lips look juicy and plump. Unlike the Buxom Full on lip polishes, these Full Bodied lip glosses do not have that cooling, tingling minty feel and the strong scent which accompanies it. I was not a big fan of that sensation on my lips, hence I do not miss it at all.

Shade & Pigmentation:

The shade “Sweet Thing” is described as a hot pink which is not true. On my skin, it looks a beautiful peachy coral, a shade very apt for the upcoming Spring/Summer wear. It does contain slight specks of shimmer in the tube but on the lips you cannot detect any of the shimmer at all.

Pigmentation is good. It does give an opaque color on the lips, but if you have pigmented lips, this may still feel a little sheer for you. For those with non-pigmented lips, you can get away with just using this product alone to give you both color and shine.

Feel on lips:

It does not feel slippery on the lips and there is a very slight stickiness to it. It feels very hydrating and does not accentuate dryness or fine lines on the lips.

Staying Power:

This gloss has a very good staying power of about 4-5 hours which can be attributed to its thick nature. It does survive through minimal snacking and drinking but will not survive full meal. It does not leave any stain behind. It does transfer.

This lip gloss have a very mild almost undetectable scent, hence is suitable even for those who are sensitive to strong scents.

Overall, I do love this product and will recommend this. These glosses are probably the most shine imparting, long wearing glosses I have used this date. If you are someone who loves lip glosses, this product is a must-have.

Do keep in mind that this range of the Full Bodied lip gloss does not have as much of shade range selection as the Full on lip polish range. The only difference between these two is presence and lack of the strong minty sensation and scent.
