We all know that charcoal-infused skin care products are taking the beauty world by storm and if we can get charcoal-infused body care products as well, then it’s a win-win situation for us, isn’t it? My Experience with C Booth Charcoal Foaming Dry Body Polish and Cleanser:

The grainy dry body polish cleanser comes in a big sturdy plastic jar container with additional safety lid and twist-up cap. It smells heavenly of roses and sweet floral fruity notes, which do not seem to overpower our senses. I truly admire and like this travel-friendly packaging.

The dry body polisher has a light grey grainy, loosely packed, sand type of texture, which might seem abrasive at first sight, but it feels mild on the skin. In fact, I was taken aback seeing the sandy dry texture of this polisher, but when I applied it gently on wet skin, it melts into a foamy solution without being harsh on my skin. It does appear messy with its loose sand type of particles, but it hardly creates any fallout in the bath tub. I see that it adheres nicely on damp skin and that’s why there’s no fallout. However, considering that we need to apply this polisher on wet skin, it is essential to use it in bath tubs or bath areas, just to be on the safer side. I am also impressed to see that just 2-3 spoons of the polisher forms an intense foam and works well for my body. I just need to massage it gently on my damp skin while it forms a foamy solution that scrubs away dirt and/or dead skin with one final wash. It rinses off easily with tap water and/or in shower without leaving any slippery or oily residue on my skin – I get squeaky clean yet soft supple skin post wash.

Moreover, I can also see how it removes the remnants of dead or shaved hair follicles off my skin, which in turn helps in delaying new hair growth on my body. It is impressive to note that it never felt abrasive or aggravated dryness on my skin considering I have normal dry skin; I do follow up with moisturizer post using this polisher as a precaution. I mean it does not feel overtly drying for my skin type, it is just perfect to provide deep cleansing and exfoliating on my skin to make it soft and supple with a healthy glow.

I like the fact that it is mild enough to be used every alternate day as it does not rip off natural moisture from my skin. With regular usage, I can feel the difference in my hands and legs as they look softer and even toned, especially at knee and elbow joints, which is a bonus. It surely made my dream of sporting mini skirts, shorts and sleeve-less dresses come true as I need not to hide my dark knees and uneven tanned body anymore. I would definitely recommend this scrub to everyone because it makes skin soft and imparts a healthy glow. I would definitely get it again.

Honestly, this is my first ever body polisher and I simply love it as it transformed my skin from being dry, patchy, and scaly to soft, supple and even toned without being harsh on my skin. I love everything about this product.
