I received C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Cream as a Christmas gift and since I loved it so much I decided to buy more products from this brand, with different flavors and functionalities. The product in this post is one of the three products I bought from my recent visit to Bath and Body Works. Keep reading to know more about this product.

My Take on C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm No. 306:
I had never heard of this brand before; even though I visit Bath and Body Works outlet so often (that’s the retail store which carries this brand), I never bothered to check anything else except lotions and shower gels. After trying the lemon lip cream, I decided to try other products too.
Packaging: It comes in tube packaging, nearly my index finger sized, with a slant tip nozzle which can be used as an applicator and also there is a twist up cap to protect it. The nozzle has a tiny hole to dispense product when the tube is squeezed and a generous amount of balm comes out which can be slathered on lips.
Texture: It is very thick but not gooey or sticky and spreads easily. It does not form a thick layer on lips but just a thin film with a cream finish. It feels like a lubricant which a can lower friction and prevent wear and tear of dry lips. It has a cream finish like most lip creams but it is not as dense as petroleum jelly and has a clearer shine.
Color: It is a transparent finish product.
Fragrance: The first time I used Lemon Lip Cream, it had a very unpleasant smell, like a stale mineral oil with undertones of lemon fragrance; hence, I was a bit skeptic about the other products from this brand as well but the Night Balm has a very subtle chocolate fragrance which can’t be smelt after application..
Wear time: It wears more than most of the lip balms and salves I have used till now and tastes sweet – literally sweet. It prevented my lips from chapping or drying up and the most important feature it did not make my lips addicted to it the way EOS does. One applied, C.O. Bigelow balm keeps my lips moisturized for a long time and I don’t have to reapply it every few minutes.
It gave even better wear time and hydration than Lemon cream I reviewed previously.

• Availability can be an issue for some.
• This product comes in a smaller tube compared to other C.O. Bigelow products but has the same price.
