Hope all of you are in the best of health and enjoying winters. We have really chilly mornings and even colder evenings and nights here, making me full-time lazy-peezy and apart from that, the uninvited cold and cough is always there. Today, I am reviewing a red lipstick, a fall shade from BH Cosmetics Crème Luxe Lipstick range. The shade’s name is captivating – Te Amo. This range has got some pretty shades, but I found some pinks and peaches too light or milky to suit Asian skin tones, so one needs to be really careful while picking up shades online. Unfortunately, not many swatches are available to guide us about the shades. Let’s move on to the review.
Make your lips an accessory with this ultra luxe, moisture-rich and highly pigmented lipstick. Enriched with Shea Butter to moisturize and Vitamin E to protect for a sleek and velvety finish.
Ingredients and Benefits:
- Shea Butter for Moisturization.
- Vitamin E for Anti-oxidant Protection.

- Allergy tested.
$3.95 with all shipping, customs and taxes, it cost me $6.75 for 3.5 gms. Made in Taiwan.
My Opinion about BH Cosmetics Te Amo Creme Luxe Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick arrives sealed in a plastic wrapping which was a pain to remove; one should definitely remove it before the eleventh hour. It comes in a matte black, round-shaped bullet with transparent portion at the bottom to display the shade of the lipstick. Overall, the packaging needs some improvement in my opinion to make it appealing.
Texture and Finish: The texture of the lipstick is too creamy and glides on like butter. The positive aspect of the texture is easy application and hydration, but then, such creamy textures tend to melt down in summers and can become messy quickly. For now, they are safe and perfect for winters and provide ample moisture to the lips. It doesn’t feather or settle into lines. So, the name crème luxe is rightly set for the lipstick. The finish is creamy-glossy and lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky on the lips.
Color and Pigmentation:
The pigmentation is way too intense; one swipe provides full opacity without giving a layered look. This is a neutral sort of red, neither blue based but not too orange either. Since red is a bold shade, you need to set the crease carefully to avoid bleeding. A lip liner will serve the purpose best, making the job easier.
Longevity and Transferability: Creamier shades come with the con of transferability and so does this lipstick. Talking about longevity, it’s about 4-5 hours, at least with regular snacking and munching around. The ingredient list skips parabens which is a big plus along with several waxes (including beeswax), vitamin E and shea butter mentioned.
Pros of BH Cosmetics Te Amo Creme Luxe Lipstick:
- A perfect creamy treat for red lipstick lovers.
- Creamy finish with lovely pigmentation.
- Full opacity in one swipe.
- Smooth, soft and moisturizing on lips.
- Doesn’t feather or bleed when set with a lip liner.
- Does not settle into fine lines.
- Good longevity.
- Fragrance free.
- No parabens.
Cons of BH Cosmetics Te Amo Creme Luxe Lipstick:
- Packaging needs to be improved.
Final Verdict on BH Cosmetics Te Amo Creme Luxe Lipstick?
This is a great range from the brand, with 14 shades to choose. I am impressed with the quality, the price tag is fairly set and the color is great for winters. Surely recommended to those who can access it, just pick up the shade wisely due to lack of online swatches.
