My Experience with Caress Precious Bloom Silkening Body Wash:

This a decently good product, nothing too exciting.  The packaging is quite simple. It is a tall transparent bottle which is very helpful to see the level of product remaining. It also has a wavy flip top cap which may sometimes pose a problem at balancing the bottle upside down when it comes time to get the last remaining product out.

The body wash lathers and cleans body very well. Only a little bit is required in a single use and lathers best when used with a loofah or a bath sponge. The quantity provided for the price is very big which makes this a highly affordable product. It is also widely and easily available. It is sold almost everywhere which includes Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, and most other drugstores in the US . Caress products can also be easily purchased online.

The best part about this is the look and feel of the body wash. It a silver-ish metallic looking luminescent liquid. If I didn’t know better, I would say it has a look of liquid pearls. It does not contain any shimmer or glitter. The consistency of the body wash is quite thick and smooth.

The scent is quite pleasant where you can detect hints of both floral notes and aquatic notes. I would say it smells a little bit like a beach, but it also does smell a little bit chemical-ish. The scent does not linger on skin for long after bath, which is a disappointment. The scent just fades within less than an hour after the bath, hence it does not give you that fresh feeling all day.

I did not notice a lot of silkening or moisturizing effect on my skin after using it, but it is not very drying either. It does contain ingredients like sunflower seed oil and white orchids and I do not read any parabens on the ingredient list which is always a plus. It is however not sulfate free.

Skin just feels very clean after using this body wash, but does not feel very hydrating.  You will need to follow up with a body lotion after using this.  Overall, a good product, worth a try.
