I have always read good reviews of Cargo cosmetics on IMBB and was eager to try something from the brand. Finally, I was able to lay my hands on an eyeshadow duo and Cargo Swimmables Water Resistant Blush range in the shade “Los Cabos.” The shade name is difficult yet interesting and intriguing as it doesn’t reveal anything about which color family it belongs to. Using a fluffy blush brush or Cargo Magic Brush, apply to the apples of the cheeks and blend back along the cheek bones toward the ear. For a more contoured look, apply just beneath the cheekbone and blend back toward the ear.
My Take on Cargo Los Cabos Swimmables Water Resistant Blush:
The packaging is simple and basic with nothing fancy. Cargo Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos comes in a tin-colored, metal casing with a separate pan inside to house the blush. There is no brush or mirror provided. The cap twists open, but closes tight to make this blush lightweight and travel safe.
Cargo Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in “Los Cabos” is described as ‘soft tangerine’ by Cargo Cosmetics. My observation agrees that it is tangerine but not soft – it is a pretty warm orange/tangerine shade. This blush has a not so finely milled texture but it is easily bendable and there is no streaking issue with application. The warm and deep tangerine blush is intensely pigmented. One swipe deposits full color intensity and you need to blend it properly for a modest look. It is not a sheer blush but can be useful for day and night both looks. It blends easily without streaks. The finish is slightly glowing due to the presence of minute shimmer particles which just add a flush of glow and are not visible individually after blending.
It survives the claims of being a waterproof and sweat-proof blush. It is definitely waterproof and I have worn it up to 12 hours, with slight fading in color intensity but the blush stays very much there, intact as I had applied an hour ago. Cargo Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos is a high-quality blush with a long-wearing formula, I feel the price is completely justified. I have had no breakouts or clogged pores with this blush and it’s free of parabens as well.

Yes, I totally recommend this blush. Though the shade range is very limited and they are only available online and not launched in stores yet, still the formula is worth investing in. I will pick one more shade in the future 🙂
