Who doesn’t love lining their eyes? Even though I still haven’t mastered the winged liner look, I am pretty good at drawing the normal eye lines. I always mess up by drawing the lines pretty big and so when I came across the product, I picked it up. So, read on to know more.

My Experience with Catrice 010 Black is Black Calligraph Ultra Slim Eyeliner Pen Waterproof:
I have never used an eyeliner pen before. Even though I have thought about it, I always preferred the old way of drawing the lines. When I saw this product, it had 3 advantages over the old eyeliner: waterproof, ultra slim tip and is a pen! So I picked it up. The eyeliner pen comes in 2 variants: waterproof and normal. I picked up the waterproof one as it often keeps raining here. The waterproof pen can be recognized by the blue cap.
The eyeliner pen is black in color with blue letters and a blue cap. The cap is sturdy and it is travel- friendly. It has ridges so that it eases the hold. The felt tip is perfect and it is more like a thin brush that helps in drawing the thinnest and the thick lines over your eyes.
The color is intense black and gives a light glossy finish. It is easy to draw the lines and you can make them thick or very thin. This eases the application for me. The staying power is good. It stays for approx. 8-9 hours without any flakes coming off. It is also easy to remove with a makeup remover. Before you start feeling that this is the most perfect pen, let me stop you!
Even though the pen could make the ultra-thin lines, stayed on for long, the product was a dud when it comes to application. It is like a very old scooter that needs a lot of kicks before it starts. The product doesn’t come with the first swipe and that can be quite annoying, I tried putting the pen upside down but it was the same.
The ink doesn’t start flowing quickly and you need to be patient. The content is less. If you forget to click the cap, be prepared for the felt tip to dry which also dries out the eyeliner! Something not preferable! But, other than this, the pen gives you the benefit of drawing that perfect winged liner!
