Today’s review is about Catrice Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick– 060 Marry Berry. Catrice had released Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick few months back. I generally like this brand, so I had to try the Fluid Lipstick. I never owned one before and was super excited to try the new product. I purchased 2 shades and here is a review of one of them. I would define Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick as a strongly pigmented lip gloss. I am not a lip gloss person, but wanted to give the fluid lipstick a try. Read to find out my experience.

The Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick is a true beauty hybrid and unites the pure colour of a lipstick with the maximum shine effect of a gloss. It contains vitamin E that pampers the sensitive lip area and offers a smooth, bright finish. With nuances to choose from soft nude to classical red shades, the Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick is sure to make all colour dreams come true.

My Experience with Catrice 060 Marry Berry Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick:

As always, the packaging is great. It comes in a transparent plastic tube. The cap is black and also rectangular. The product inside looks like a normal lipstick from outside. The cap has an applicator wand. The wand tip has a very soft applicator. It’s very easy to open and close the cap. The cap closes tightly and there is no chance of leakage, so safe to travel with. The wand of the applicator is stiff and doesn’t flex when applying the product on to the lips. The tip of the applicator is also very soft and glides easily over the lips.

The consistency of the product is very similar to that of a lipgloss. The product claims to contain Vitamin E which nourishes the lips. The staying power is not as strong as of a lipstick. It lasts for 1 to 2 hours without any drinking and eating. The product gets easily transferred on to cups when I drink water. The product doesn’t feel sticky on the lips. The color is very plummy purple. A perfect autumn and winter color. The intensity of the color can be easily built by applying in layers. The finished look of the lips is great. The lips looks totally glossy.

There are absolutely no shimmers or glitters in the product. Overall, the product is good but with not-so-great staying power. I prefer matte lipsticks as I need to apply just once before going to work and it needs no touchups. This is not the case with this lipsticks. I am not super satisfied since the staying power is not as great. If you are more of a lip gloss person, then you should definitely give it a try.

Would I Repurchase Catrice 060 Marry Berry Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick?
Not really. I prefer and feel more confident with lipsticks on my lips than a lip gloss. I also don’t like to reapply the product, which happens to be the case here.

Would I Recommend Catrice 060 Marry Berry Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick?
If you are more of a lip gloss person, then you will definitely like it. It’s not so expensive, so give it a go.
