The Catrice Aqua Ink Lip Liner comes in a black pen-like body and the cap and the bottom denote the colour of the lip liner. The lip liner almost looks like a sketch pen. The cap shuts with a click and hence, the product is a travel-friendly one. The lip liner has an aqua-based texture and it comes with a felt tip applicator. The tip is rounded and is very firm which doesn’t wobble during application. When I applied it for the first time, I almost had the feeling of painting my lips with sketch pens.

The shade “Back to the Fuchsia” is a light fuchsia pink colour. When I first swatched the product on my hand, it did bleed and disperse. I expected the same to happen while applying it on the lips but, it did not bleed. You can also use the lip liner to fill in the lips, but make sure to apply it on well-moisturized lips else it will make your lips patchy and streaky. However, after applying the product, you can use a lip balm to keep the dryness at bay. The lip liner stays for a pretty long time without smudging or fading.

The staying power is a huge plus. The lip liner stays on my lips for almost 24-30 hours after which it starts fading away. I have pigmented lips and this product makes my lips look pink and healthy. It leaves a semi-permanent tint to my lips because of which the colour is very hard to remove. I use an oil-based makeup remover and a scrub to remove the stain completely. The product is waterproof and it easily sustains meals and drinks. Also, the lip liner stains my clothes and the mistakes stay for almost 2 days. Overall, it is a great product.
