After reading the review about Benefit blush in Coral by Rati, I was convinced to try a Coral color for myself. So, thatz how I ended up buying Catrice Illuminating Blush – 020 Coral Me Maybe. Thank you Rati!
The blush texture looked so beautiful that I just wanted to try it on. I also wanted to see how the coral color suited me. So ended up trying the same evening I bought.
Claims:
CHEQUERED AND CHEEKY
The Illuminating Blush combines two different colour-intensities with a subtle shimmer and a light pearl. This accentuates the cheekbones as well as giving your complexion definition and a soft glow.

3.99€ for 5gms approximately 280 INR for 5gms
I was expecting lot of shimmer looking at the product but it turned out otherwise. Shimmer-wise it is very subtle. I would rather describe it as pearly finish which I prefer. I was so busy checking out the illumination at different angles with different lightings that I didn’t realize the most important part for few minutes. Yeah the color!
The color was supposed to be coral but it looked pink on me . I don’t know if this is just the case with me?
I did apply quite a bit on my cheeks to get the color I was looking for but still it looked mild and pink.
The pigmentation is also not that great. For the picture with swatches, I had to apply so many coats! I was definitely expecting a much better pigmentation. The product is also very powdery.
I also couldn’t find the ingredients information anywhere on the packaging nor on internet. The best thing I really liked about this product is the illumination. With the usage of this product you can skip the highlighter. I definitely will use this product just like any other pink blush but my hunt for a coral blush will still continue.
Pros of Catrice Coral Me Maybe Chequered and Cheeky Illuminating Blush:
• It has a combination of colors
• Lovely pearly finish
• Very subtle shimmer makes it suitable for everyday wear
• I love the chequered texture on the blush
• The packaging is sturdy.
• Not expensive
Cons of Catrice Coral Me Maybe Chequered and Cheeky Illuminating Blush:
• Pigmentation is not that very great
• Even though the color is Coral it appears to be pinkish when applied
• Ingredients information missing
