Today I’m going to review another shade from the Catrice Colour Show range of lipglosses. Previously, I reviewed the shade 120 Pearl Jam . The shade that I’m going to talk about in detail today is 030 Pink Me Up. There’s a shade Pink Me Up in the Ultimate Colour range of lipsticks from the brand as well which I reviewed a few days ago and let me tell you that the two are not similar in any way so please do not get confused between them. Moving on to the review.
A colorful show! Intense color up to 4 hours, stunning brilliance, extremely durable! New, efficient applicator ensures precise and quick make-up mouth. Full range – 9 colors.
My Experience with Catrice Cosmetics 030 Pink Me Up Colour Show Lipgloss:
Like I’ve described previously the lipgloss comes in a very basic cylindrical transparent tube through which the actual shade of the gloss can easily be seen. This makes it super easy to locate the shade in the stash. The gloss has a black screw cap which holds the shade name and closes properly without any product accumulation around the mouth of the tube and thus can easily be carried around. The wand that accompanies the gloss is a little narrow and long and helps in easy application of the product. These glosses have a really soft fruity fragrance which I totally adore.
The shade 030 Pink Me Up is a very cute coral pink shade which is really apt for the summers and can easily be rocked by the teenagers who are taking baby steps into the world of make up. It has a lot of micro shimmers which are not overtly visible on the lips so as to make one look like ‘prom night Barbie’ but are rather pretty invisible on the lips and add a pretty shine.
In terms of texture I would say that this is a super smooth and moisturising lipgloss and makes the lips really soft and supple. It’s absolutely non sticky and light weight and thus it would receive some love from non gloss girls as well.
The pigmentation of this lipgloss is really sheer as compared to Pearl Jam and this is because it is one of the lighter shades. Owing to it’s low pigmentation I don’t have the guts to wear it by itself as it just doesn’t help in covering up the lip pigmentation. Being a light shade it almost behaves like a clear gloss and I generally top it over my matte pink lipsticks to add a bit of sheen sometimes. The staying power of this lipgloss is pretty average that is, 2-3 hours after which it disappears completely leaving a slight sheen on the lips. Reapplication post a meal is obviously a must and it is quite prone to transferring as well.
Summing up the pros and cons,
Pros of Catrice Cosmetics 030 Pink Me Up Colour Show Lipgloss:
- Non-sticky and light
- Really moisturizing
- Soft fruity fragrance
- Well-designed wand that helps to spread the product evenly
Cons of Catrice Cosmetics 030 Pink Me Up Colour Show Lipgloss:
- Availability in India.
- Staying power could’ve been a little better.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Overall, this is quite a decent product for youngsters as the shade can easily be carried off by them and it’s sheer finish helps them enjoy some colour without going too overboard. I recommend young girls and women who enjoy light shades in general to definitely check out this shade if they come across this brand somewhere.

The name is Pink me up but the gloss seems orange-y to me. Nice review Ankita. You have a good collection of catrice cosmetics.
looks nice on u with shimmer!
Thanks Neha but I usually prefer it as a top coat over my matte lipsticks 🙂
I am not a fan of gloss and shimmer, so it’s a skip for me. 🙁
I tend to stay away from shimmer so I’ll skip this one, but the shade really looks good on you 🙂
Thanks Garima 🙂
