You might know my love for eyeliners. I have already reviewed the shades “Ultra Black” and “Cleopetrol” from the same range. Today, I am reviewing the Kajal in the shade 070 Take The Greyhound. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Catrice Cosmetics 070 Take The Greyhound Kohl Kajal:
The kajal comes in a sharpenable pencil form but, there is no sharpener attached with it. These kajal pencils have a color-coded body that makes it easier to spot the shade from the makeup stash. The cap fits in tightly and it never comes off while carrying around. The shade name is written on one side of the pencil. The pencil is extremely lightweight and gives a perfect grip while applying. Overall, the packaging is average. I wish it comes with a sharpener too.
As its name suggests, the shade “Take The Greyhound” is a smokey grey coloured eyeliner. Though the eyeliner does not contain chunky shimmers, it has fine silver micro shimmers in it that add a beautiful sheen to this eyeliner. The pigmentation of this eyeliner is average and the colour is easily buildable. One swipe deposits light colour on the eyes. Therefore, it takes at least 2 to 3 swipes to build up the colour on the eyes.
The texture of the kajal is soft and smooth but, I will not say it is extremely creamy. As a result, there is a little tugging and pulling off the eyelids. It has a lovely velvety finish. The tip of the kajal gets blunt easily. So, it requires frequent sharpening. The kajal is water resistant but not completely waterproof. It easily smudges on my waterline after few hours of application. There is a little smudging of colour from the corner of the eyes. It requires too much layering to make it look darker. The smokey grey shade is the perfect shade for a soft smokey eye look. The colour is easily blendable.
The staying power is good. It lasts on my eyelids for around 3.5 to 4 hours without any significant fading on my eyelids. But, it fades and smudges a bit on my waterline. The kajal can be removed easily using an eye makeup remover or an oil-based remover or baby oil. Overall, I already like this range from Catrice Cosmetics. This kajal is also good.
