Nail care products are something I always invest in. I recently picked up some base and top coats and today’s review is all about Catrice Cosmetics 9in1 Nail Elixir. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Catrice Cosmetics 9in1 Nail Elixir:
The Nail Elixir comes in a nail polish like bottle with a silver screw cap which holds the applicator brush. The product comes unsealed and it contains some basic information on the back of the nail polish. The cap closes well and it is travel-friendly. One of the main reasons I picked this one is because it acts a base coat and a nail elixir too providing 2 ways benefits.
The nail elixir is cream in color and has a runny consistency similar to a nail polish. The smell of the elixir is awful. It smells like strong fevicol and is so off putting! The smell is pretty strong and even though it doesn’t stay long, till it dries, the smell irritates me.
The brush of the elixir is pretty good and it eases the application. Even though it is not dense, the wide bristles make it easier to cover the nails. The product once applied onto the nails imparts no color. It is transparent and when tried acts like a base coat. The product is similar to any base coats and application is the same as well. The product once applied on the nails dries within 15-20 seconds and once dried, it imparts a gorgeous brilliant shine on the nails. You can leave it on like this and the shine stays for around 6 days without any chipping. If you apply nail polish too, the product prevents any stains from the nail polish.
I have pretty brittle nails and whenever I apply nail polishes, it cracks and this causes a lot of issues and this elixir has helped me in sealing the chipping and provides a clean even base for nail polish. The product contains caring properties and over the usage of time, I have noticed that the texture of my nails have improved. However, they are not completely gone. I haven’t noticed any strengthening with this nail elixir. Overall, it is a good product as it adds great shine to my nails and when my nails are short, I can still have beautiful looking nails. Since it contains a lot of caring ingredients, I feel that it definitely protects my nails from the damage caused by the nail polish. So summing up

Would I Recommend or Repurchase Catrice Cosmetics 9in1 Nail Elixir?
It is worth a purchase. I would not repurchase it as I like to keep the options for base coat open.
