Recently, I had picked up few fixing sprays from Catrice. Today’s review is all about Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Dewy Glow Fixing Spray. Read on to know more.

Ingredients:

My Experience with Catrice Cosmetics Prime and Fine Dewy Glow Fixing Spray:

The product comes in a light pink hard plastic bottle which has a nozzle and a transparent cap. The package is very handy and great for travelling. The product comes unsealed and the cap creates a vacuum to close. There is no chance of the cap opening. There is some basic information about the product on the backside of the bottle. The package is pretty basic. The bottle is made of good quality plastic. The nozzle is very hard to be separated from the bottle.

The pump is pretty good and sprays the liquid effectively over a large area. Just 2 pumps would suffice for fixing the makeup. There are around 3 fixing sprays in this Prime and Fine Range. There are 2 layers in this spray, one is the liquid water and the other is fine glow powder that settles at the bottom of the bottle. You need to mix these two and then apply. The product smells very fresh and floral. It reminds me very much of Emami cold creams.

The product sprays as water and not as fine mist and this makes the drying process longer. Once sprayed, it takes around 15-20 seconds for it to dry. The product can be used both as a setting spray and as primer. Once dried, the product creates a light glow and wet kind of look, which is dewy. It also minimizes the pores and preps the skin. It is extremely lightweight and hardly feels on the skin. It adds a glow on my face and I especially been loving this property when going to the gym. I just spray this on my skin and it makes my skin so better and this is great for the days when I am with no makeup, but still need to look good!

The product doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts. The product helps in sealing the makeup and keeps it in place. I prefer to use this one as a base because, it helps to hold the makeup longer and also, since it creates a beautiful base, I can just finish off my makeup with some powder foundation and don’t have to be worried that it would transfer. The spray also helps in preventing transfer of foundation, which is great. The product is great, but the dewy effect stays for around 3-4 hours and fades away and you need a reapplication.
