My Experience with Catrice Defining Blush 040 Think Pink:

Blushes have got a soft corner in my heart. They are not like foundations or eyeliners, which are strongly noticeable or make huge difference in the look, but the whole makeup looks incomplete without them. These are the products which give the face ‘a-life’. The practice of having pretty pink or peachy pink flush on cheeks is not new. Blushes give a youthful appearance to the face. I purchased this blush from an international airport during vacations.

packaging

Packaging: This blush comes with a simple, transparent plastic package, which is very sturdy, sleek and compact. One can see color of the blush very easily through packaging. The lid closes tightly with a click sound, so very travel friendly packaging. There is no mirror or applicator brush in it.

pan

Formula: The powder blush is finely milled and has a silky texture. The product is compactly pressed into the pan, so there is no fall out. The blush is well pigmented, so light brush strokes can easily pick the right amount of the product. It blends easily with few strokes without any patchiness. The blush has no shimmer; it is totally matte, but not chalky matte. It gives a beautiful luminous finish without shimmers.

Shade: The shade is a pretty neutral pink. For some reason, it looks different in the pan, but it is actually a medium coral pink, with no hint of orange tone in it. Please take the swatches in consideration as they reflect the right shade. It is nice for light to medium complexion. It gives beautiful natural pinky flush to the cheeks and is good for day wear and office wear.

Staying power: The blush lasts for 4-5 hours on foundation/bb cream, after which it starts fading. It fades evenly without patchiness.
