With the right brushes, you can achieve flawless makeup looks, and it stands so true in the case of eye makeup. I bought a duo brush from Catrice last weekend and I am reviewing it today for you all.

My Experience with Catrice Duo Eyeliner Brush:
I recently bought a gel liner and as there was no brush included in the packaging, I decided to purchase an eyeliner brush and came across this duo brush from Catrice. As it had dual benefits, I decided to pick this up.
The brush comes in a zip lock pouch. The brush is black in color and it’s a duo brush. On one side, it has a short flat brush and on the other, it has a gel liner applicator brush. The length of the brush is perfect and diameter is great to hold and helps in ease of application.
This brush has dense, short, synthetic hair and it does pick up the product effectively. The duo brush can be used for both cream eyeshadows and eyeliners and I find the rounded edge to be a perfect choice for creating wings and filling the edges of eye using the eyeshadow. The bristles are very smooth and do not irritate the eyes.
The brush holds all the bristles tight and thus there is no shedding. I haven’t noticed any shedding when I washed it. The rounded side helps in applying the product on the waterline or when smudging the product to create a light smokey look, but other than that, I didn’t find it great for drawing lines on my lids.
It is thick and if you want bold lines then this could be a good choice. The straight brush helps in creating fine lines but I wish it was a little slanted as it could have helped in creating winged eyeliner. For the price, the brushes are great, but they cannot be used to create precise and sharp lines. If you are looking for a brush to create mild smokey effect or thick lines, this is a good product, but if you want to experiment with different styles, this duo brush is not a good choice!
