My Experience With Catrice Kohl Kajal – 160 I Have A Green:
I wanted to add some colourful budget-friendly kohl pencils to my vanity and that’s when I came across this product online. Having read all positive reviews about it, I quickly added this kohl pencil to my shopping cart. When I first received the product, I noticed that it wasn’t sealed. I always opt for products, which have a tampered seal, so this unsealed packaging was a disappointment.
The pencil has a creamy and smooth texture that glides easily on my waterline. “I Have A Green” is a beautifully pigmented dark green shade, which I love. Like its claims, it does have a lot of colour effects in it. It looks soft, metallic and has a hint of shine and shimmer in it. The kohl pencil provides a smooth velvety finish to my eyes and lives up to all its claims. This shade is perfect for creating a smoky look for an evening outing. It is certainly a great product to include in your vanity.
The kohl pencils from Catrice are color-coded, so it’s quite easy to spot the shades from the makeup stash. You can happily buy these kohl pencils online without even seeing the swatches. It’s a nice, lightweight sharpenable pencil but doesn’t come with a sharpener. It is travel-friendly and I had no issues with the packaging. I wish it came along with a sharpener, but since it is very affordable, I wouldn’t complain much as it’s a steal for the price tag. Overall, it’s a good quality pencil that delivers and stands up to all its claims.
The tip of the pencil is nice and thick. It requires a little sharpening and doesn’t transfer onto the sharpener. As this pencil glides smoothly on the lids, it is easy to smudge this shade to create a nice green coloured smoky eye look. It can be used as an eyeliner on the upper lash line and as a kajal on the lower lash line. I prefer applying this pencil over my black eyeliner and it makes my eyes look super gorgeous. The staying power is decent as it lasts for more than 6 hours. After that, it tends to smudge a little in the corners of the eyes. But for me, it looks beautiful that way too. However, it isn’t waterproof. I tried washing my eye makeup once to test if it’s waterproof but, it failed the test. It does fade and smudge when it comes in contact with water but doesn’t smudge that badly. So, it won’t work for women who have a habit of rubbing their eyes often.
