The Catrice Liquid Gel Cushion Eye Liner comes in a glass pot with a black screw cap. The packaging of the eyeliner is similar to the other gel liners available in the market but, it doesn’t come with a brush. The pot contains a black cushion and even with a little pressure, the liquid starts oozing out. With a brush, you can apply a little more pressure to get it onto the applicator. When not in use, there is no leakage from the sponge, but when you place the bottle in an upside-down, it stains the cap.

The Catrice Liquid Gel Cushion Eye Liner in the shade “The Black Sheep” is a jet black, deeply pigmented eyeliner. Even though the product oozes out as a liquid, it still gives the effect and feel of a gel liner. The gel eyeliner feels very light and you do not have to apply much pressure to draw the lines on your eyelids. The eyeliner dries instantly to a beautiful finish and hence, it is hassle-free. Though it is a fast drying liquid eyeliner, you can still use it to create a smoky eye look, but you have to be very fast.

On application, it provides a glossy finish to my eyelids. I am not sure if the product is a waterproof one, but when I washed it with water, the eyeliner didn’t fade away. Also, this eyeliner stays for a very long time. Though I have oily eyelids, the eyeliner doesn’t smudge or flake except that it slightly fades near the outer corners of my eyes. The product solidifies and makes the brush hard to use and hence, you should wash your brush after every usage. If you are using it for the first time, make sure to have a cleanser handy in order to erase those eyeliner mistakes. Overall, it is a great product.
