I have picked up quite a few products from Catrice. Today, I am reviewing Catrice 080 That’s What Rose Wood Do! Long Lasting Lip Pencil. To know more, read on!

My Experience with Catrice Long Lasting Lip Pencil – 080 That’s What Rose Wood Do!:

The lip liner is in the form of a simple sharpenable pencil form. There is no sharpener provided with the pencil. The lip pencil has a colour-coded body that helps in identification of the shade in rush hours. The lip pencil is sleek and lightweight. These lip pencils have really intriguing names.

The shade “That’s What Rose Wood Do!” is a dull or dusty pink shade. The shade is beautiful and looks pretty on the lips. I prefer to apply this beautiful shade alone as a lip colour also. The lip pencil has a soft and smooth texture. The lip pencil is matte and free from shimmers. The formula is a little drying. The lip liner clings to the dry patches on the lips, so prepping the lips is advisable.

The formula is not at all moisturising. The lip pencil causes a little tugging and pulling of the lips. I prefer to apply a lip balm underneath that facilitates smooth application. The lip pencil is decently pigmented. I apply two coats to get full coverage. The lip pencil is waterproof up to some extent. But, it feathers a bit.

The lip pencil has some weird smell, which I find quite bothering and irritating. There is minimal transferring of the colour. The lip pencil has the staying power of approx. 4 hours with a little snacking. The brand also claims that it stays for approx. 4 hours only. So, it totally lives up to this claim.
