I invest a lot in nail care products as I have issues with brittle nails. I finish the product very soon too due to everyday frequent application. I recently spotted this one from Catrice and decided to pick it up. Today’s review is all about Catrice Pro Care Nail Oil. Read on to know more.

Ingredients:
Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Aleurites Moluccana Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl P-Cresol, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Ci 47000 (Yellow 11), Ci 61565 (Green 6).

My Experience with Catrice Pro Care Nail Oil:

The nail oil comes in a transparent glass bottle with a silver screw cap which holds the applicator. The product comes unsealed. Due to the transparent bottle, you can clearly determine the quantity of the oil. There is a very little basic information on the product. Due to its tiny package, the product is travel-friendly and you can use it on the go to fix the nail issues. The screw cap has a flock applicator, and thus it has a push-in mechanism and once you insert the wand in, it creates a suction and prevents any leakage. This is great because, this would prevent a lot of unnecessary spillage. There is also a stopper which has a smaller hole and this squeezes out the extra oil. However, the applicator picks up a lot of oil. The applicator has a curved pointy edge which makes it easier to apply near the corners of the nails too. Overall, I am very happy with the package.

The nail oil is light green in color and is almost transparent when applied. The green is due to the presence of added colors. It has a very light texture and has the consistency and feel like Parachute jasmine oil and feels almost like water than oil. The smell of the oil is amazing. It smells very floral and it definitely in captivates you. The smell is so strong that it feels like a perfume and it lasts longer. The application is easy, you use the applicator and apply the oil onto the nails, and then you leave it on or massage the nails.

The nail oil gets absorbed faster and since it is an oil, it adds intense shine onto the nails. The product consists of a mixture of oils and has combined nutrients. I use the oil every time I wash my hands and I have noticed that the oil makes the nails look healthy. It also takes care of the cuticles and softens them. The oil also makes the nail smoother and heals any brittleness. Due to the continuous application, I have noticed that my nails are getting stronger too. It also moisturizes the skin around the nails too. Even though it is a good oil, its main ingredient is Mineral oil which is a bummer. Also, the results are temporary. If you stop using the oil within 3-4 days, your nails return back to normal. It feels like the oil masks the nail issues.
