I would define Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick as a strongly pigmented lip gloss. I am not a lip gloss person, but wanted to give the fluid lipstick a try. My Experience with Catrice Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick 070 Better Make a Mauve:
As always, the packaging is great. It comes in a transparent plastic tube. The cap has an applicator wand. The cap of this particular tube doesn’t close tightly and am sure it will leak if I travel with it. Make sure to check before buying.
The wand of the applicator is stiff and doesn’t flex when applying the product on to the lips. The tip of the applicator is also very soft and glides easily over the lips.
The consistency of the product is very similar to that of a lipgloss. The product claims to contain Vitamin E which nourishes the lips. The staying power of the product is not as much as that of a lipstick. It lasts for 1 to 2 hours without any drinking and eating. The product gets easily transferred on to cups when drinking. It doesn’t feel sticky on the lips.
The color is a beautiful nude with a slight shimmer. I normally don’t prefer anything on lips with shimmer or glitter. But this shade really won my heart. The intensity of the color can be easily built up by applying in layers. The finished look of the lips is just amazing. The lips looks totally glossed. It’s more for a party wear due to the shimmer. This is the first shimmer lip product I loved.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Catrice Shine Appeal Fluid Lipstick 070 Better Make a Mauve?
I love the way it looks and it happens to be the first shimmer lip product I ever liked. But still I would not repurchase due to its bad staying power and loose cap. If you don’t mind reapplying the product, then give it a go. It’s a lovely shade and suits everyone. But make sure the cap closes tightly.
