My brows have never remained the same and I owe it to all IMBB! I am fan of brow pencils and I keep buying them often. My Experience with Catrice Slim Matic Ultra Precise Waterproof Brow Pencil 030 Dark:
The product comes in a plastic case and is extremely slim. The color on the pencil matches the shade of the pencil. The pencil fits comfortably in a purse and bag. There is a spoolie on one side and the pencil on the other side. It comes in a twist-up self sharpening pencil. The product is travel friendly. There is a transparent case on the side of the spoolie and an opaque one on the side of the brows.
There are 3 shades available in the range. I picked up the darkest as it would suit my dark brows. The product is made for European markets and thus the shades are made keeping the lighter hair color of people here. The darkest shade itself feels a little light if you have very dark eyebrows. You can clearly see the difference on the brows. The product is very thin and is very soft. The product is creamy and glides without any effort. The pencil is self-sharpening and due to its ultra slim texture, it draws very thin lines which create perfect lines.
Due to its creamy texture, it is very easy to blend as well. I usually draw my brows and then blend the color using the spoolie and this disperses the shade and gives a soft, more natural look to the brows. I wish there was a little less creaminess. It takes a few minutes to settle and during this time, chances are there that it would smudge more. However once it settles, it doesn’t cause any issue.
The product doesn’t crumble or flake, and gets deposited well. It is not the most amazing pigmented eyeliner out there, but it is okay as it creates a natural look. The pencil nib is 1.5mm and this also lets you draw fine lines and create sharper brows. The product overall lasts for around 6-7 hours which is pretty decent, but it fades from the sides within 4-5 hours, so the chances that the brows will stays without any border is very high. I bought this eye pencil around 3 weeks ago and I am done with the product.
Brow pencils last me at least for 3 months but this one didn’t even make it to a month considering that it was used sparingly and only for office looks. The quantity is really disappointing. I am sure for creative artists; this wouldn’t last for more than a week. The spoolie is good as well and has soft bristles that do not hurt while using it. Other than the product quantity, I am happy with the product. I only wish they bring this out with larger quantity.
