IMBB Sponsored Product Review
Hope all of you are in pink of your health. I am truly happy and excited to share my first IMBB sponsored review for my favourite French skin care brand “Caudalie.” IMBB came as a blessing to me a year back and twisted those boring hopeless threads of my life to make a beautiful way heading towards glory and happiness and now their unique and excellent way of rewarding all fellow writers with this amazing opportunity of sponsoring their favourite products added super excitement and happiness to my journey with IMBB. Today, I will talk more about the goodie, “Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti Wrinkle Fluid” – a beautiful gift of IMBB. I had been in touch with the brand Caudalie since I tried their premier eye cream, which is still my favourite eye cream till date. I must say investing in skin care stuff is like gambling for me 😛 Either you are a millionaire if your product rewards you or you are a loser, being ditched by your product . I have been to both winning and losing stages in skin care gambling and this time, thankfully IMBB helped me to play a safe game with Caudalie and I laid my hands on this amazing anti-wrinkle fluid, yayyy! I must say I am more into winning stage with this product. So, before I talk about Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti-Wrinkle Fluid and my experiences further, I would love to briefly give an idea about Caudalie and its ingredients for your information and interest in skin care essentials.
Did I tell you that “Caudalie” is a French term that measures the duration of a wine’s flavor in your mouth (one second equals one Caudalie, and the finer the wine, the longer its flavor lingers, courtesy my wine lover hubby 😛 ) ? Well, my hubby loves Caudalie even more after knowing this 😛
Brief Story of Caudalie Founders:
Aside from creating fine wines in the family vineyard in Bordeaux, Caudalie creators Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas made another discovery that was all throughout their land. The grape seeds they threw away after the harvests were actually a goldmine! This was brought to their attention by Professor Vercauteren who was the head of the Laboratory of Natural Substances in Bordeaux as well as part of the World Group of Polyphenols, a precious antioxidant that’s been proven to be 10,000 times more effective than Vitamin E for skin treatment. These seeds contain polyphenols which are the most powerful free radical traps in the plant world. From that discovery, Caudalie was created. Polyphenols are featured in all Caudalie products. Grape polyphenols fight against free radicals, which cause 80% of skin ageing. These free radicals are generated by light, pollution, smoke, etc. They destroy our cells and lead to premature ageing. The Caudalie skin care regimen is all about calming and nurturing the skin to create a radiant but still natural-looking glow.
Caudalie pulpe vitaminee anti wrinkle fluid revives, moisturizes, with Hyaluronic acid, Ginseng and Grape-seed Polyphenols. A vitamin-rich cocktail for the skin: packed full of smoothing and energizing active ingredients, this cool emulsion actively protects the skin and visibly reduces the signs of ageing and fatigue. Wrinkles are smoothed out, the skin is perfectly moisturized and radiant. For anyone over 30, looking for a way to fight the signs of ageing and fatigue. Apply morning and evening to face and neck, either by itself or after Pulpe Vitaminée Serum. Avoid the eye contour area.
Friends, I would take your little time to tell you little more about Hyaluronic acid, polyphenols and Ginseng . I guess you must be curious to know their significance in skin care as I am, isn’t it?
HA is a natural glycosaminoglycan (polysaccharides which are important component of connective tissue). Naturally found in the body, hyaluronic acid secures moisture and creates fullness—youthful skin naturally abounds with hyaluronic acid. In skin care, you can find hyaluronic acid creams, serums, injectables. Research reveals that hyaluronic acid is a popular ingredient in topical beauty products, such as moisturizers and makeup, as well. It forms a barrier on the skin and gives a soft moisturizing effect that makes skin smoother, but it doesn’t eliminate wrinkles.
Ginseng is a medicinal plant which has been used in many Chinese medicines so far. Ginseng leaves and roots contain minerals, anti- oxidants and vitamin C which help in metabolism of skin cells thus nourishing skin by removing dead skin and helping to get new nurtured skin, also aids in production of collagen in middle layer or dermis of skin hence it may help in premature ageing by making it tighter and toned. It is also believed that ginseng helps in reducing dark spots on face; people use ginseng roots or oil in DIY home made face mask recipes.
Polyphenols: A polyphenol antioxidant is a type of anti-oxidant containing a polyphenolic or natural phenol substructure. Polyphenols help to fight free radicals by combining with them to prevent them from harming your healthy cells.
I hope by now you must be well aware of the truth behind Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti Wrinkle Fluid’s main ingredients. So, please read on further to know this product fared for me.

This off white fluid comes in a pretty cute and slim opaque white bottle with a pump dispenser opening, safely guarded by cap. It has a very mild aroma smelling like that of crushed grape vine leaves. My bottle has a loose cap, once I carried it along in my purse while staying at our friend’s place and thankfully, the fluid was not leaking, but the cap came off. I guess it might not be the same with other bottles.
My Experience with Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti Wrinkle Fluid:
Well, I am blessed with oily skin and occasional break outs; however, as winters arrive, my skin becomes combination bidding farewell to all zits and skin issues. This is the best time for me to nurture and nourish my skin for future summer’s breakouts 😛 After using Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream, I was eyeing Caudalie’s face products for my winter skin care regimen, especially for night creams and day lotions, but their hefty prices and insecurity of after effects on my skin were my prime concerns. Finally, the time came and IMBB gave me a golden chance to try them and nourish my skin from inside and outside. I opted for Caudalie’s Pulpe Vitaminee range which is suitable for women in their early 30s or reaching 30, suffering from early signs of ageing. I received my product in early September and while writing this article today, I have completed 3 weeks of skin rejuvenation and I am all set to narrate my experience through each week.
Firstly, I liked their honest claims of smoothing and reducing wrinkles unlike tall claims of removing or preventing them forever, which is too much and sounds fake. When I got this product, my skin was suffering from loss of hydration and smoothness as I told you earlier. I did a blunder of scrubbing my face daily from TBS’s new scrub. I stopped all other skin treatments and started Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti-Wrinkle Fluid thereafter.
Week one was pretty normal with this fluid as my skin was healing from dry patches and minor issues like temporary fine lines on my nose while smiling and minor first signs of fine lines around eyes. The fluid looks like a lotion and spreads like ater on face. A small pea drop is sufficient for my face and neck at one go nowadays, but initially, I used to apply generous amount of fluid on my dry patches on cheeks, around nose and around eyes. I used it twice once at day time and secondly at night for accelerated results.
After a week, one fine morning, I could actually notice that my skin was breathing and those brown patches were all vanished leaving behind slight redness and soreness. I also observed that within a week, only my skin was looking radiant and those minor fine lines on my nose which were a result of harsh scrubbing were near about fading. To my surprise, it never caused breakouts on my skin, though it did not do anything on the existing ones. I continued with my TBS tea tree face wash along with this fluid.
I continued using it for another week as I was pretty happy with the results. By now, my skin was hydrated and smooth and I suddenly realized that I only need a pump for my face and neck as applying it generously (like earlier days) made my face slightly greasy. Now, I was surprised to see that it gave me mattified, shine-free, yet healthy glow up to 6 hours as per my observation. I used to smear it on after bathing, around 8-9 AM and my face used to look soft and healthy till 4 o’clock. I never used any face powder during this time as already my skin was under treatment and never felt the need of using it; moreover, I used to observe dewy smooth face in the morning while applying it at bed time. I just felt this fluid was ineffective on my black heads and existing zits; however, it never exaggerated those issues further nor does it claim to do so. It never clogged my pores. I was able to notice slight even tone and radiance on my skin beneath zits and minor scars and my fatigue-exhausted skin was revived again.
The last week was a “sixer” truly. My skin was actually looking radiant and youthful with those minor dry lines vanished completely and fine lines around eyes finally smoothing and I believe very soon in a month or so, I am going to observe other possible results as well. Now, I started using it once in a day as I fear I am going to finish it off quickly. Now, I can see my skin inflammations like redness, soreness and dryness all gone. It looks and feels soft and smooth while touching. I just wished it could have been infused with anti-acne or blackhead ingredients, then it would have been my HG lotion. I use it as a serum, moisturizer, all in one. It is enough hydrating to be used the whole day yet mattifying to make you supple, youthful and shine free for good hours.
Finally, after 3 weeks, I got to know certain truths that it will not heal my acne or zits, but it will prevent future breakouts while smoothing dry and scarred and sore skin beneath them. It won’t clog pores nor reduce their size unless we use a toner before using this fluid, but it may give glowing mattified skin for a few long hours. It brings life to skin, makes it even toned, radiant and glowing in true sense. It does act on skin inflammations like redness, soreness apart from giving shine-free, healthy glow for great hours. It reduces and smoothes fine lines which is true and visible week by week. One can actually see how the exhausted and saggy skin is revived into a glowing and tighter skin.
I guess I can also use it in summers at night for glowing difference. For winters, it is going to be my winter care face lotion truly (provided I experience no/or occasional zits and breakouts till summer). I already demanded it on my next anniversary from hubby darling 🙂
I feel it is best made for combination skin beauties all year round and for oily skin beauties in winters (occasionally it may be used in summers as it is lightweight) and may be dry-skinned beauties need extra serum or moisturiser after using it on skin in summers/winters.
Let’s sum up the pros and cons:
Pros of Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti Wrinkle Fluid:
- Lightweight emulsion infused with anti-oxidants and vitamin rich ingredients like ginseng, polyphenols, oats, hyaluronic acid, etc.
- It looks thick yet spreads like water on rough skin.
- It heals and repairs dead skin cells week by week as per my observation.
- It helps in reducing and smoothing dry fine lines around cheeks, nose and eyes.
- It does not break out skin or clog pores.
- It also gives mattifying yet healthy shine to face for many hours.
- A little pea drop goes a long way to cover face and neck at one go.
- It does not treat acne, but it may help in keeping skin clear and thus helping in preventing future skin issues.
- It is formulated without parabens, SLS, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, huiles minerales (mineral oil) and Ingredients D’origine animale (any animal origin ingredient).
Cons of Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Anti Wrinkle Fluid:
- As of now, none except the fact it is not made for acne-prone skin.
It is worth every penny for those visible skin differences and future results as well. It’s been 3 weeks since I am using it twice and still I can notice it is pretty good enough to last me 1-2 months more. I would highly recommend to all those beauties who are suffering from dry skin patches, dull skin and/or first signs of ageing, it will surely help you in getting even toned new bright skin. I am definitely getting it again! Thank you IMBB for this wonderful skin treat, I am loving it despite the fact that it is not meant for oily skin issues. It did help me in solving issues as well. I would love to continue with this fluid as it is more or less natural and free from chemicals (you may see that all the ingredients are naturally derived from plants).
Guys, giving you most probable visible evidence of my experience, I hope you would be able to figure out the visible difference through my pics. I hope you understand in least possible case, pics might not do justice with actual result. I am giving bare face pics of day 1-2 apart from resultant pics of second week and then final week. All pics were clicked during day time. The resultant pics were clicked almost 3-4 hours after using Caudalie fluid on skin. I hope you will observe visible changes such as mattified face and glow. Please ignore my blackheads and other issues, I dare to go bare this time with a lip color, that’s all 😛
Friends, I was really nervous while writing this article, after reading all your superb, well-written posts. I hope I did justice to my review and I hope you liked my small effort.
