Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Review

Hi friends!

How are you doing today? Can’t believe March is almost upon us and so is my birthday. Yay! Oh yes, my gal will complete 4 years on 26th March while I will officially become 30 years young soon too. Well age is just a number, isn’t it? Anyway we all know anti-ageing is directly proportional to anti-oxidants we get through our daily diet or skin care regimen. However, if you are too lazy to munch on grapes or massage them on your face, then you are definitely going to love this brand, Caudalie. They seem to be getting a lot of attention with their anti-oxidants, resveratrol, vine sap components in every product, and such ingredients make me stay loyal to this brand.

My Experience with Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

packaging

The moisturizer comes in a white, thick and opaque plastic tube packaging with a twist over cap and a narrow stout opening. It does have an overwhelming fragrance which subsides quickly post application. Over all, I am pretty happy with its hygienic and travel friendly tube packaging. The moisturizer is actually more like a cream yet has a lightweight consistency which I haven’t seen in any other Caudalie moisturizers before. But to my surprise, it gets absorbed within seconds, without any greasy or oily residue.

nozzle

It does seem like a tinted moisturizer at first with that transparent white layer and not-so-smooth texture but it melts on the skin leaving it quite radiant and healthy looking. I love how it makes my skin oil-free and radiant in no time. The fast absorbing mechanism bothered me initially during winters but now I am fine with it.

Caudalie Vinoperfect

It also implies that this formula is perfect for oily, very oily skin even in summers while beauties with dry skin might find it tricky in every season. I believe in replacing skin care regimen as per weather and skin issues, hence I am pretty happy with this moisturizer as of now especially for it’s so light-weight. I see that it takes care of sunspots and pores very well too. However I always end up applying more and more as it is so light that it quickly gets absorbed into my skin; I can never go overboard with this formula.

Radiance Moisturizer

I like that it keeps shine at bay for good 5-6 hours; after that my T zone gets slightly oily, but nothing to be concerned about. It does heal dry patches but takes its own good time. In fact my acne scars and the frequency of occasional zits has come down with this moisturiser. Initially I was bit disappointed but after regular usage it has made my skin quite soft, supple and refined. I do have a few dark spots and this moisturiser has effectively blurred them over time, which makes it a keeper for ageing skin. I feel that anti-ageing products take some time to show results, hence this moisturizer is no exception.

It gets applied nicely beneath face makeup without causing any patchy or streaky finish. All I need is this moisturizer and a dab of loose powder to look flawless at times. Plus it has broad spectrum SPF 20 which is good enough. I would definitely recommend this to combination, oily, very oily skinned beauties. It will clear every last trace of blemishes, can you imagine? I would definitely like to get it again.

Let’s sum up pros and cons:

• Gets absorbed easily without any greasy or oily residue

• Treats dry skin patches and blemishes over time
• Clears all old, current scars, sun spots or ageing spots
• Keeps shine at bay for decent 5-6 hours

• Tricky formula for dry, parched skin
• Failed to treat my dry patches in cold weather

Despite of cons, I would love to try it again in summers just because of its light-weight, fast absorbing formula and for it ability to diminish those nasty acne scars, sun spots and other mild pigmentation.
