Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Review

Hola bonitas

How are you doing today? The countdown has begun for the New Year bash. Yay! Anyway, I am here to share my experience about my first tinted moisturizer with you all. I had read about tinted moisturizers a lot, could not really try any. But now I use this product before stepping out, even for grocery shopping. 😀 So let’s read more about Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20.

Product Decription:
What it is:
A three-in-one tinted moisturizer that corrects, perfects, and provides light makeup coverage and SPF 20 protection.

What it is formulated to do:
This tinted moisturizer’s mineral pigments cover skin imperfections, leaving you with a smooth, even complexion so that over time, spots become less visible, and the skin is more beautiful. Great for all skin types, it contains a high concentration of viniferine, which is more effective than vitamin C. It’s formulated with a blend of mineral pigments to blend with skin to cover skin imperfections, leaving a very natural-looking yet smooth finish.

My Experience with Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20:

The tinted moisturizer comes in an opaque, white, plastic tube packaging with a narrow stout opening and a safety cap. It smells like ripe vineyards, pretty much to my liking. Overall, it is a pretty hygienic, user friendly and travel friendly packaging.

Caudalie launched only two shades for this tinted moisturizer – light and medium, and honestly I don’t think two shades are sufficient. I mean even though I am love this tinted moisturizer, the “Light” shade I picked up is not my ideal match. While “Medium” shade is way too dark for my medium/wheatish skin tone. Talking about my shade “Light”, it looks beige with pink undertones, which is so tricky that it might look ashy on ivory/porcelain skin toned beauties; gals with pale/yellow skin tones will find it tricky too.

Thankfully my skin tone becomes fairer during winters, hence the shade is working well for me these days while it will be tricky in summers. To be frank, I love it for its non-oily, non-sticky and decently hydrating formula. It is neither a foundation nor a BB cream to cover my blemishes or acne scars. I am impressed to see that it easily makes my large pores vanish for decent number of hours, while those acne marks look lightened. It almost feels like a creamy moisturizer which blends easily on my skin, leaving more radiant and smooth texture than before, not to forget that dewy finish. I see that using a toner/serum or simply an ice cube prior application makes blending easier.

I also like the fact that I can blend this moisturizer with my fingertips too. No one can ever tell the secret behind my glowing skin. This also means that it has perfect consistency to blend on my skin even with finger tips; it feels slightly thicker than usual moisturizers but it is still manageable on my skin type. It gives me semi-matte finish at first which becomes dewy after few hours of wear time and requires no touch up. I feel that it may be tricky for dry skinned beauties as it tends to cling on to patches at first, but then gets blended due to the warmth of our skin.

Yes gals, I do suffer minor dryness on my cheeks and nose area which might be tricky for this product. But as I mentioned earlier, it gets blended with the dry patches after a while. So, I do not feel any dryness on my skin even after removing my face makeup. Amazing, huh? I believe it would work best on oily and combination skin that too with minor skin issues. But then that’s how every tinted moisturizer works. I am really happy to see that I never suffered any breakouts even after using it for several hours.

It won’t heal dryness but it does take care of minor flaws here & there. I am also amazed to see that it gives me decent 5-6 hours of wear time without primer. It fades evenly thereafter leaving my skin radiant and dewy, which looks good on its own. Other than the shade selection, I really love this product and would highly recommend it. It is perfect for winters especially for beauties with first signs of ageing and/or other minor concerns.

• Does not look made up on my skin as it blends like a real, creamy moisturizer
• Makes my skin look younger
• Gives such a silky, soft texture to my skin
• Easily blendable
• I do not have to use a primer underneath

Cons of Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20:

Well thankfully I don’t have any major skin concern to cover, hence I can easily ignore the cons. Moreover, I feel that makeup is all about feeling comfortable with flaws and not hiding our self. I definitely like to treat my skin with good ingredients, hence it is a win-win for me in every sense.
