I have an ageing skin and due to that, I have to take extra care, and I cannot afford to neglect my skin as it will lead to degeneration even more rapidly. In the skin care regimen, sun blocking is a very important aspect because we all know how sun exposure leads to early skin ageing.
I have different sunscreen lotions for the body and the face as I have a very sensitive skin I avoid the body ones on my face altogether. I have also tried natural sunscreen from California Baby(that may kid uses) which makes me look like a white ghost. 😀 So, I was looking for something that’s invisible and I finally found my match in Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with SPF 30.
Cerave Moisturizing Lotion AM features micronized zinc oxide and broad spectrum sunscreen actives such as homosalate, octinoxate and octocrylene which deflect UVA and UVB rays from the sun and other sources of UV radiation such as your computer screen and fluorescent lights. The ceramide-rich formula provides essential ingredients to maintain a healthy skin barrier. So, while CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion AM with SPF 30 is protecting your skin from the sun, it’s also rebuilding and restoring your skin¿s protective outer lipid layer.
Unique, patented MVE delivery technology Cerave Moisturizing Lotion AM features the patented Multi Vesicular Emulsion or MVE technology. This technology provides a controlled release of skin-nourishing and protective ingredients slowly after 24 hours. MVE allows ingredients to penetrate deeply into the skin to moisturize, nourish and protect it…all day long!

My Experience with CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with SPF 30:
The lotion comes in a boxed packaging with a pump dispenser bottle made of plastic. The pump can be locked so no hassles during travel as well.
I dread the sight of ghastly white faces covered in sunscreen so much that I might skip that essential at the cost of skin damage in order to have an invisible barrier. Most of the physical sunscreens are formulated with Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide as ingredients which causes the white cast.
Chemical sunscreen do not leave a white cast on so they absorb in the skin to protect whereas the physical sunscreen sits on top of the skin to act like a veil of protection, kids are mostly recommended physical ones.
The moisturizing sunscreen is on thicker side and looks a bit white, if not blended well into the skin. I love it as it serves the purpose of both moisturizer and sunscreen and comes as an all in one product. I use it after cleansing my face in the morning and that leaves no dry patches because I have a dry skin with flaky patches from time to time.
This is a very good day moisturizer with SPF 30 and that too an invisible one. I am very glad I got this and it’s my second bottle.
Pros of CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with SPF 30:
• Very hydrating.
• Protects against sun’s UVA and UVB rays.
• Leaves no white cast.
Cons of CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with SPF 30:
• None at all.
