Skin Tone- Medium, NC42, warm undertones
Here is the second shade that I got from the newly-launched liquid lipstick range by Chambor. I picked up the shades 405, 432, 482 and 483; this is the review on the shade #432.
INR 845/- for 6 ml.
A long-lasting transfer proof liquid lipstick with a smooth sensorial feel and a creamy matte finish. Its extreme matte coverage provides a deep intense color in just one stroke.
My Experience with Chambor Extreme Wear 432 Transferproof Liquid Lipstick:
Starting with the packaging, I have to say I like the simplicity of this lipstick. It would have been great if there were names to the shades because now you have to remember the shade number and the corresponding shade. Though the body is see-through but addition of name is always welcome. I find the applicator quite user friendly but if you have very thin lips, you have to be a bit careful. Description and ingredients are mentioned on the outer paper carton.
The texture of the lip color is very smooth and lightweight. It is very pigmented and one swipe covers every bit of the lip pigmentation, if any. I really like how it does not cake up or just sit on the lips like a sticky lacquer. It seems just like your own lips. I would definitely suggest a lip balm underneath to avoid feeling dry after a while. Also, it would be nice if you scrub the lips to form an even base for the color.
The shade #432 is a beautiful warm orange-red shade. It brightens up the face immediately and adds glow to the overall makeup. The intensity adds to the beauty of the shade. Since there are so many reds out there, you might find a dupe of the color, but the ultra matte texture is something, I am really fond of these days. It can be worn by people of various age groups and skin tones without looking weird. If you are looking for a red with cool -undertones, then this is not for you.
Coming to the staying power, I have to admit it was a pain to remove it. It stayed on my lips till the time I removed it with a makeup remover. Once set, it does not move or smudge a bit. Taking it off would require an oil-based makeup remover, else you might end up tugging and pulling your lips. It does not leave back any stain if removed with an oil-based remover.
Overall, I would say, Chambor did a pretty decent job. I would have loved to see more fun colors in the range as most of them are more towards neutral. Though the price tag is a bit high yet, you get a good amount of the product and a real long-wearing formula, so the price is justified.
